Mesquite Grill

This is by far the best Mexican Restaurant on the West Side! We visit this location rather frequently, and are always greeted with the friendliest staff who bring us amazingly delicious food. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a divine Mexican meal.

Great service, quick to get food and drinks! They held the door open for us on the way in and the way out! Good tasting food! Great dessert! I'm Mexican and I have missed good Mexican food since I moved to Rochester, I felt right at home here! I was all smiles when we went. Very excited to have found this place and I will be coming back.

Very nice! Awesome food that came out very quickly. The table had the chicken soup, fajitas, enchiladas, shrimp 'street' tacos. Everyone had more than enough to eat with leftovers. Service was timely and welcoming. Will return soon. Quite tasty!

I've seen this place every time I pass by to go to work, so I decided to check it out. Omg! Inside is so cozy, and cute, the ladies was super hospitable as I enter, and there is also outdoor dining. I order a chicken fajita with all the trimmings and you get a side of bake chips,& spicy dip....Try it out people.....👍🏼👍🏼

As soon as you walk in you feel right at home, such cute cozy environment. A smaller restaurant that they decorated so nicely for a Mexican feel. They also play really authentic Mexican music which ads to the ambiance.

The food was BOMB!!! The menu was extensive with a lot of great options to choose from. I ordered Flutas which came an order of four and a huge side of rice and beans. They were delicious! The refried beans were the best, a spicy hint. My mom got the taco salad and she loved it as well. Not to mention you get free unlimited chips and salsa, finally I found a restaurant that still does this! Price and the amount of food served to us

The Service was phenomenal the waitress was wonderful so attentive and nice. We got our food super quick too. The prices and the amount of food we got was great too.

Street chorizo tacos were dope. Rice is fluffy and I like the beans presentation. They are blended so much they feel lite, not a standard dense version. Oh and the margaritas are official. Just got done giggling with my wife on valentine's day there being buzzed. Nap time :]

Good food, wonderful people. I needed a large catering order on short notice and they came through beyond what I hoped or expected.

At first moment we walked through the door I was on guard. I felt bad walking in a half hour before close but the hostess wasn't very reassuring thay it was ok and they were open. She was more worried about fanning herself and having a conversation with someone off in the distance. Very nice little patio option even thpigh we chose to sit inside. Once we got past the front door I was very pleasantly surprised. Our server was fantastic. The food came out fast and was delicious. Everyone thanked us on the way out and we were not the last ones to leave. Super cute place and we will definitely be back.

Good food fast, not fast food. I can't speak to other branches, but the one in Gates really has a lot on the menu to explore. Some things (carnitas, street tacos) are better than others (tamales, nacho chips), but you can eat there every day and try something different. Or just keep going back for your favorites. Staff are super friendly and service is great.

Oh, and they also serve alcohol and have a bar. 😉

Love Mesquite Grill......I am a long time customer and can honestly state that the food is ALWAYS great!! The food is always WARM and the staff is ALWAYS friendly. My favorites are Flautas and Carnitas......and the meal would not be complete without a frozen Margarita and a Tecate for my husband. Ambience great and happy to note that they play "musica Mexicana". My only wish is to go more often ;-) Thank you!!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic. Ask the wait staff what they recommend... They have not ever steered us wrong.

My kids brought me here for dinner on my birthday. The food is absolutely fantastic and the prices are great! I would highly recommend.

Delicious and Friendly! I randomly walked by and saw their board outside for taco Tuesday. The bartender was so accommodating, the tacos and mango margaritas are so good! The chips and salsa are such a great extra with your order. It is a clean and inviting place. The bathrooms are seriously cute! I found my new Tuesday place!

The food is outstanding. I tried the Sopa de Pollo (chicken soup) and it was loaded.
It has plenty of Shredded Chicken with rice, veggies and avocado. The serving is very generous. I also ordered a tamal to give it a try and again it was delicious. Theres something about that sauce. 😋

Family (3 adults 4 kids) went for Saturday night dinner, we sat outside and our waitress was very friendly/attentive! We all enjoyed our food, drinks and dessert! Inside had a nice ambiance, clean bathrooms and a great Spanish vibe. Food tasted fairly authentic, would definitely come back!

Listen I don’t care what you read other than this But I’m TELLING YOU IF YOU EAT MEXICAN FOOD ANYWHERE ELSE THEN U ARE JUST STUPID!! THE FOOD THE DRINKS THE SERVICE CANT BE MATCHED ANYWHERE ELSE! I’ve been here at least 15 times in the past 2 years and EVERYTIME..NOT ONCE IN AWHILE BUT EVERY SINGLE TIME THIS PLACE NEVVVVVVVVVERRR DISAPPOINTS!! IT IS BETTER THAN THE LAST VISIT WHICH IN ROCHESTER IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAPPEN!

My wife & I stopped in for dinner Wednesday night. The food was amazing! It was the best Mexican food I have in all my years of living in the Rochester area. My meal was so good I ordered a second one to take for lunch the next day. The service was fantastic! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. It is going to be our go to Mexican restaurant. We are planning on going back soon for another meal.

Delicious Mexican food, can honestly say this is my new favorite place to go for Mexican since itacate closed its main resturaunt. Very nice wait staff as well. Cant wait go go back!
