Kastner's Motel

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The family that runs it couldn’t be sweeter or more accommodating. It’s a nice, quiet, rustic little spot on the lake. Heads up not every cabin has a lake view, but why do you want to sit in your cabin all day anyway? Walk for 5 seconds and there’s your view!

Note: if you’re the type that typically “speaks to the manager” over every tiny little thing that doesn’t adhere to your standards of modern trappings, go stay at a Hilton. If you don’t care that it’s not the most up to date place and has a little character, you’ll love it.

Family has been coming here since they opened. Newest generation of ours to be coming for all 14 years of my life so far! Margret, Martin, and their son our so kind and will do a lot to make your stay make memories. Great fishing, exploration, and countless things to do with a little imagination! Would recommend 1000%

What a wonderful place to stay, free boat usage and there are lots of fish, although mainly sunfish. The rooms are pretty basic but they have everything you need, and very clean. There's a little beach, and the water temperature is bearable, but can get cold. Exploring the lake is really fun. They have a shared kitchen stocked with all the essentials. Owners were super friendly. Would visit again, and highly recommend!

Peaceful , great place to take your family . The lake is beautiful . The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. This is are go to vacation place in NY . The rooms are clean and theres even a small kitchen to use if your rent a cabin with no kitchen . The rates are reasonable. They book quickly so we reserve a year ahead of time. People are friendly . Small park for the kids . Not far from the town of lake george . Very cozy .

I love staying at this hotel right on Lake Veneer. I swam in the lake every day. at night we had campfires. Great place. I loved it because there weren't that many bugs like mosquitoes which always attack me. It's only a quick 10-minute drive from Lake George Town. Highly recommended. It was my second time there and I will continue to go there.

I've been staying here for many years, always have a great time. Family owned, super friendly and accommodating. Great peaceful location on a small lake away from the main strip of Lake George, but just 10 minutes away from "it all". Reasonable rates with a variety of different rooms/cabins.

Absolutely loved staying here. The Kastners are very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, had great amenities and wasnvery reasonably priced. The views are simply stunning. I hope to visit again soon!

Kastner's Motel is great little beach to go in the water and relax very cute and cozy in the Adirondacks

It's a very cozy place to stay. It might not be the nicest and most furnished place, but it is very warm and comforting. It is nice to get away from the ciry for a little. Also the owners are beyond friendly!

Me and my wife stayed there last year nice place to stay thay have tennis courts basketball and a little lake for swimming a good place for the kids thay have cabins to if want you can park near your cabins if want to and the swimming hole is spring fed you will love it i did see you there by

Very cozy and great location! The view of the lake is gorgeous. Why stay in the overpriced LG village or Saratoga when this is only minutes away?

Great vacation spot for whole family great staff and the lake is so beautiful the kids loved swimming and the paddle boats were the best plus the fire pit after dark was a breath of fresh air good people great atmosphere what more could you ask for!!!
