Schoharie Valley Farms/The Carrot Barn

Great place to go to get flowers, shop in the market, or get a bite to eat for breakfast or lunch. The flower selection is vast and the prices are reasonable. The grocery selection is very good with meat, dairy, and vegetables, it is nice to see that some of the vegetables are grown right here on the farm. The cafe and bakery provides breakfast and lunch including pastries and muffins. They also have gluten-free options.

Absolutely wonderful farm store. The produce is fresh and everything is so wonderfully arranged. There are many selections of jar goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, also some home goods and small cafe inside.

Nice farmers market that has a bit of everything.

For example large freezer full of local meat like pork and steak. Fresh vegetables, fruits lots of bottled goods like jam.

Bakery section as well.

Outside plant nursery with good selection of flora. A good stop if you are in the area.

Great selection of perennials! The veggies, fruits, cheeses and jams are amazing as well! And a beautiful drive in the country!

Wonderful local farm with seasonal vegetables, in small or bulk for purchase,cider,local dairy items, gifts, homemade bakery, sandwiches, coffee, flowers,and a huge selection of seasonal outdoor decorations on a picturesque valley setting!

Great place to grab a sandwich. I recommend the roast beef with smoked Gouda cheese, red onion, and horseradish on a potato onion roll. Also, their cider donuts are the best anywhere.

Loved it. You need to go. Beautiful mountainous views and gorgeous flowers and plants everywhere. It's like flower heaven on Earth. Nice grocery store inside and cafe, bakery and deli. A little bit of everything and everything so natural and healthy for you!

Incredible farm shop. Excellent pies, cakes, and the reason for my visit, cider donuts. Huge selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, tons of gift items. Great place all year round, but fall is when it shines.

I just love this place , I always find what I need. And great gifts too. Everything is delicious, great atmosphere! Love all the plants too!

Spring update: 4/10/22

They have such beautiful flowers at the Carrot Barn! We came out to celebrate my little sister's birthday with a delicious, rich and creamy cake. Of course, I couldn't walk away without some lovely flowers. I bought a pot of beautiful petunias to brighten up my classroom, and a pot for a friend. If ypu want some lovely flowers and a yummy snack, you can't go wrong at the Carrot Barn!

There is always something fresh to find, plants to admire, and tasty food! Today we enjoyed warm, fresh apple cider donuts and they were delicious!

We took some more donuts home, along with some apple cider, some pie, and a funky looking Blue Hubbard pumpkin.

Perfect place to stop by for breakfast or lunch! Don't miss the big cookies and the donuts. The food is really good.

We love this place. Great store. Fantastic bakery. Farm fresh meats and produce. Old fashioned candies.

This is one of my favorite favorite places anyone and everyone needs to stop in the valley to visit this place fresh food fresh vegetables steaks and just the amenities make you want to come back for more and more I enjoy the customer service and love being there when I'm visiting and being there with friends and family nice place to relax and sit down and have a nice cup of coffee with a Danish or or a donut

First time going here... love this place. Got our Christmas tree here, some maple candy, a good cupcake. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful place! Fresh produce, plants, and a lovely little bakery/cafe. My all time favorite is the Apple Turkey but everything I’ve tried is great. The Asparagus sandwiches they make in the spring are so good! And the carrot cake is incredible. Some items are a bit pricey and the produce tends to be comparable or more expensive than Walmart. However the quality is very good and from my knowledge a lot of it is local.

Super nice staff, great selection of produce, baked goods, local and national brand products, local dairy and meat, and plants. The apple cider doughnuts are delicious, as well!

Great fall selection of pumpkins, flowers and seasonal favorites. The pastries, donuts & cider are delicious.

Always a fave to go to for a fresh sandwich and fresh meats and veggies. I love the turkey cranberry sandwich they have. All around great place.

Absolutely fantastic! My wife and I had lunch and it was marvelous. They have the BEST apple cider doughnuts I've ever had. If you're in the area stop, if you have to travel make the trip you will not be disappointed.
