Loved this authentic diner on our short visit to Rochester. It's truly a hidden gem. Loved the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The food was exceptional. We tried their breakfast menu. We loved everything. The one thing we weren't too fond of was the hollandaise sauce on the Salmon Benedict. It wasn't as silky as it should've been. Other than that, everything else was on point. Our favorite was the nutella stuffed french toast. The french toast was warm while the fruits n whipped cream were cold. It is the perfect breakfast!

I love going here! There is usually a wait and they won't seat you until your whole party is present but it's so worth it. The menu is big and everything is delicious. My friend and I both got skillets they were big and delicious. We had leftovers to take home. I love that they have Jamaican me crazy coffee. They also have amazing homemade thick milkshakes (I did not get one one this time but I've have a pb and Oreo one before and it was amazing. The service is great and they decorated for Christmas! Highly recommend coming here. I've never been for lunch but want to.

I picked the perfect meal here. The place was adorable. Very busy, we received a pager and waited until our table was called. Annabella’s milk shake looked amazing.

One of the coolest places to eat in Rochester, especially for breakfast. The palce is a little bit bigger than it looks, there are about a dozen booths and then counter seating. Went for breakfast this past Monday morning. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. Restaurant was very clean and bright. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Portion sizes were very good. Depending on your breakfast appetite, you might even have some to take home for lunch. Parking lot is small and is kind of tricky to get in and out of as the cross streets are usually pretty busy. Would highly recommend any of the skillets for breakfast. The best time to go is during the week, right when they open. Otherwise, you can expect a wait and limited parking.

Fun place to eat and the staff was very nice! Cinnamon swirl french toast was good, especially with the cinnamon sauce.

Definitely my favorite breakfast spot in Rochester. The menu isn't overly large, but has enough variety and different styles for anybody. Great coffee too! It is a very tight space, but it is so good and reasonably priced. It's definitely worth the Wait time and close quarters.

The gem diner in the city! I used to live just down the road on Henrietta Street in the late 80s and was a frequent customer. Just visited again and had the tuna patty melt with a cup of red pepper, tomato, and potato soup. The diner was very busy, but the food was prepared quickly and served by the friendliest staff.

There are 19 seats at the counter and another 35 seats are so in the booths. Gets very busy at the traditional meal time so make sure you plan accordingly!

The food is always amazing, the wait staff are so friendly and even though there is usually a wait to get in, they have the little alert devices to let you know when your table is ready. I'm all the years I've been going there, I've never had a bad meal or experience. It's definitely my go-to spot or for breakfast, but don't sleep on their milkshakes, they are amazing!

Once in a while, you come across a place that not only lives up to the hype but surpasses it. This was one such gem. From the to die for Nutella-filled French toast to the top-notch ambiance and staff, everything was exceptional. To top it all off, being seated inside an actual diner added a unique and delightful touch. Highly recommended!

Fun place, well staffed and busy on a Sunday morning. We sat at the counter rather than waiting 15 minutes for a booth. It was fun to watch the staff in action, especially the cooks. Food was excellent. I had challah french toast which was delicious. My daughter had country style eggs Benedict with sausage. She was pleased too

This is a really solid, classic diner with a wide range of options on the menu. I’ve only been for breakfast so far, so I won’t speak for their dinner service, but both visits I’ve had great service and delicious food. You can choose from regular, hazelnut, or Jamaican coffee (and decaf, but 😑), and the servers come around frequently for refills. The blueberry pancakes are a must-get for me, and the Mediterranean omelette is a great savory (and vegetarian) option.

Quick service despite being in a pandemic, and delicious food for every visit! An absolute Rochester staple! Highly recommend their burgers and unique milkshakes!

2023 Update: I love coming back to this original streamline diner! It is cozy and full of history, as well as good eats!

Great spot for a top-notch breakfast. You can't beat the old-time feel of dining in an actual rail car. Inside, the decor is beautifully done and takes you back in time

The breakfast was delicious. I went with the Gyro skillet with feta, red onions, and tzatziki sauce, topped with two sunny side eggs. Hot and tasty coffee. My wife had the combo with two eggs combo and bacon and rye toast. And oh yeah, great English muffins to top it off.

I will surely be back when back in Rochester.

We went here with my grandparents and the food was your classic diner food with great menu options and huge portions!
The atmosphere was really interesting and cool to see the inside of the place.
It can be a little cramped inside which is the only downside if you’re very claustrophobic- but it was fine for me :)
Would recommend ✅

We also went on a Sunday and we’re able to easily find parking! They have a lot and there’s a street right there we’re we parked for free.

Went here this past saturday 9:30am aprox. Had to wait 1 hour to be seated but it was worth it! The corned beef hash was amazing, so was the scrambeld eggs and home fries. My grandkids loved their pancakes and my daughter her egg benedict. The only thing for me was they didnt have any unsweetened drinks or zero sugar drinks other than unsweetened iced tea. It would be nice to have zero sugar iced tea like the pure leaf or snapple zero sugar drinks l, also more fruit options for the kids, my grandaughter doesnt like melon, strawberries or maybe oranges, grapes so kids can choose and it doesnt go to waste. Service ,food and wait time once we were seated was great. Food was done quick. Will go again! Their menu is big so i want to try other things!

Really friendly staff and manager, fun place to eat, delicious food with great choices, and reasonable prices. The only "complaint" I have is that they close before dinner time.

Great atmosphere. An actual old style diner in a wagon. Vibe was great here. Staff is really nice and service was exceptionally fast, we didn't expect that fast. Food was great, try bennedicts and french toasts.
