Sal's Barber Shop & Hairstyling

I've been searching for just a place like this. I haven't had a haircut like this since I was a child. Sal is professional, kind and knows what to do with hair. He takes his time and drums up a good conversation that reminds me of old school barber shops. I usually end up with a cow lick after haircuts but this guy not only cut my hair without any direction but then explained why I won't get a cow lick after. I'll be back for my haircuts from here on out.

Won't go to any one else . Me , my father , uncles , brothers . All of us for years and years gone to sal since day one. Sal not only gives perfect hair cuts with precision but has a beautiful soul and a great human being. Relaxing environment.

I should have written a review for Sal a long time ago. He's an excellent barber and offers incredibly affordable services. I've made the mistake of going to other barber shops when Sal was closed and I needed a haircut right away, but I haven't found any barbershops in the area that come close to Sal's. Also, he's a great person to have a conversation with while you're getting your hair cut, but he also doesn't talk your ear off if you don't feel like talking - the perfect balance.

For those concerned about social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, yes, Sal wears a mask and he has always maintained an exceptionally clean and sanitary shop. The waiting area's a bit small, but I'm sure he would accommodate someone if they wanted to wait outside - I've never seen him skip over any customers or lose track of the order in which customers arrived.

Sal has been cutting my hair for 30 years, my father's hair and now my 2 yr old sons hair. He has been through every style and phase with me throughout my youth until now. One of the best known barbers around the capital region! He is also a terrific person and I wouldn't want any other barber cutting my families hair!

Sal cut my hair for over twenty years. And my brother's and my father's. Call ahead to ask how busy it is. And if you're lucky, a cousin from Italy will call Sal during your cut. I miss ya Sal!

Sal is amazing! You can tell he loves what he does. Very popular barber, people come from far and wide. My husband and sons travel from Ravena to Sals. Very friendly and knows everyone by name and how you like your haircut. Dont know what everyone is going to do if Sal retires!!

Professional pays attention to detail very reasonably priced and friendly gets it done right and in a timely fashion considering the amount of attention to detail that goes into a haircut this was my 1st visit and I will definitely be returning I believe he said he was doing this for over 40 years and it shows he was very knowledgeable I was truly impressed with his work definitely the place to go it's hard to find and old style barber such as this it was a A good service for a low price couldn't ask for more.
