It's always a good day to deal with the DB. I've been going to the Leonardo's since they were at the 4 Corners in... well, Delmar. Quality shoes and leather goods which they stand behind and repair. A company run by women, I believe... not that that matters, but...

The Delmar Bootery is the only place I’ve ever taken old shoes to for repairs and they did the same great work that I’ve become accustomed to again. Also, Mandy provided excellent service with my purchase of new boots. I’ll definitely be back!

I stopped in yesterday evening to see about a pair of boots... the ones I have seemingly failing to keep the damp and cold out... the selection is narrow, but quality... which also translates to expensive. they did not have my size in the boot I thought might work for me, BUT... Serena (hopefully spelling that right) was SO kind and actually sprayed my boots for me to help keep the water out. this is what customer service is all about. Gold star.

I've had these boots since 2010 and it took me so long to find a place to do maintenance on them. They look and feel just like the day I bought them!

The Thursday brand boots I wear in the winter had the soles coming apart. Delmar Bootery was able to repair them in about 3-4 weeks. The resole they did even keeps the original sole pattern. They also did some cleaning and shining on them I did not expect, and they look great! I like being able to repair these things rather than throwing them away.

They did an excellent job resoling my boots for a good price. Will go back when I need another resole!

Nice people at the bootery. They adjusted my leather belt with extra holes, when I lost some weight.....at no charge. I'll soon be returning for shoes, as well as shoe repair. These nice people have won me over!🙂

Brought in two pair of boots to be stretched, to accommodate my wide feet. Only took a few days and the price was lower than I expected! One of my pairs were 100% leather and a bit expensive, so I was nervous to bring them in and have the stretching be too obvious - it was not. I eagerly tried on my boots and they finally fit well and didn't look any different. The gentleman who cashed me out (who I suspect is the one who does the repairs) was extremely nice. This is for sure my go to place for any shoe troubles!

I have had issues with shoe fit most of my life. The person assisting me, the original owners daughter, measured both feet and explained my left is a 10, and my right a 9.5, that explains a lifetime of tight shoes. Their Alden mens shoes are crafted with style and execution that is not found in today's mass produced goods.

This place is the place to go for leather problems. I have a pair of western stye boots that didn't fit. They stretched them and made them fit. I'm telling you the service was both friendly and great. By the way the boots were purchased at Red Wing which was the worse place ever. The Bootery took great care of me.

When I dropped off my boots and purse I was skeptical that the quarter of an inch they could take off my heel would make any difference but they assured me it would. I am very happy with how both items turned out and the customer service was good to! I will definitely be back!

I brought in a pair of knee high boots that didn't fit me, the calf was way too small on them with no zipper to force them on. Brought them here and they worked their magic! They inserted a gusset that stretches. They fit perfectly now and the gusset was so nicely done it actually looks even better than the original boots did! Highly recommend!

Awesome job on my shoes!!!!! They were brand new but the heels were very slippery. I requested them be replaced with a softer, and safer heel.

Has numerous shades of shoe polish. Shoe stores in Wilmington NC don't carry shoe polish! Staff is always helpful. Wish I could be home more often.
