New York Marriott Downtown

Beautiful hotel with a stylish lobby and great ballrooms for business events. Stayed here for a downtown event and loved the walkability—perfect for exploring the area. My room had amazing views and was surprisingly spacious for a downtown NYC hotel. The decor added a nice touch, making it a very comfortable stay for business. Highly recommend for both business and leisure!

I stay at this hotel for business a few times a year. The property is clean and is in a great location. My recent stay was as successful as the previous visits. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly as always. This time I worked with Nicky and she was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She was also kind enough to recognize my Gold Elite status and provide me with a complimentary upgrade to a Junior suite (room 1615). I definitely recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were here to see broadway shows and this is right in the heart of it all. The walls were a little thin but not bad. We had a beautiful view from our room. Service was great and we would stay again!

Perfect hotel to pick if you wanna just walk to a lot of cool things. World Trade Center is block away. Staten ferry few blocks. And a bunch of places to eat and shops to shop just short walk. Rooms were clean and modern. Lounge had some good food and staff was super friendly.

Good location, as always in NYC your mileage may vary, but we knew what we signed up for. The room was very comfortable, large by city standards, and had a nice view. They charge destination fee but actually give useful credits in exchange IMO. Most other offerings I've seen are much worse. $30 at the restaurant covers breakfast for 2, and the daily $15 Lyft credit was extremely handy.

Thank you to the Marriott Downtown NYC staff for an excellent stay. Your central location made exploring the city a breeze, and the variety of food options in the hotel was super convenient. I especially appreciated the extra security of keycard elevators—felt completely safe. Plus, the view of the city skyline was a real treat! Looking forward to my next visit.

The rooms were decently large and very nice. The beds and the pillows were so comfortable! The food from the restaurant was also pretty good. The location is pretty convenient if you’re planning to walk around to explore downtown Manhattan.

I really enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel. Customer service was great from start to finish. The room was a decent size for NY. Although I must admit the beds are a little bit small for two adults to share. We all enjoyed the Hudson River view. There is a destination fee of $25 but they do give you a good/drink allowance for the restaurant downstairs, bike rental and a bus tour if you want to take advantage of that. There is a $65 valet parking fee but if you stay on a Saturday night all parking on the street is free but you have to walk a little.

Great location to explore NYC, spacious clean rooms, short wait for elevators and plenty of city views. Executive lounge staff were super friendly, has beautiful harbour views and offers specialty coffee - not just plain black filter coffee, which was much appreciated.

Even the adjacent Starbucks...I entered the place and she said, "hello freind". That might not mean much to you but in nasty rude world, kindness still touches the heart if many!
I will be making this 9/11 area visit an annual one and this Marriott is my choice. Thank you again!

I recently stayed at the New York Marriott Downtown, and my experience was wonderful, especially thanks to Manager Leshanda Brunson. This was my first time staying at a hotel in New York, and I had many questions. She was incredibly patient and helped me with all my inquiries, securing various benefits for me as well. Leshanda’s patience and professionalism made me feel very welcomed and satisfied. Because of her assistance, I am giving this hotel a 5-star rating. Great hotel, great location close to WTC. They give free big bus passes and lift credits for travel into the more tourist areas of the city.

Had a quick business trip to NYC over the weekend and stayed at this hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly, except for one staff member at the bell desk whom I felt uncomfortable with. The room is clean and spacious, and the location is convenient. I would stay at this hotel again if I go back to NYC.

It was a great stay at Marriott Downtown. All the staff and the cleaning lady was very helpful and friendly. Especially Nikki at the reception was exceptional.

The room is very spacious considering usual New York sizing and its very clean too. The resort fee is very reasonable and actually good value.

Very close to world trade centre and walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge. We would happily come back to Marriott Downtown.

Beautiful location, facilities and excellent staff. Of all the Marriott properties in NYC, this has been my favorite. Getting an Uber to the front door is a little challenging with directional access. Will definitely be back to stay here again.

Rooms are quiet, unlike other places I’ve stayed in NYC. Staff was very friendly. Starbucks downstairs is highly convenient, although it’s very busy, recommend mobile order.

I don’t typically leave reviews for hotels unless they are horrible. However, this hotel was amazing. The cleanliness, the location, the staff, everything was top notch. The room we had on the 37th floor had an amazing view of Lady Liberty! The beds were perfect and comfortable. The linens and pillows were great. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I definitely recommend this spot. And ask for the harbor view!
