Don Juan Mexican Restaurant West Seneca

Craving Mexican food…this is the place to go! My family & I went here for the first time last night for dinner & the food is absolutely delicious! Their staff is friendly, fast on their feet & attentive. It’s definitely my new favorite restaurant!

Best Birria around by far!! Don Juan has the best Mexican food by a long shot but their birria is out of this world (available only on Thursdays). I recommend Don Juan all the time!

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Buffalo so far. What made this place especially better was that overall the food was not salty. Some of the restaurants I have tried before were over seasoned so that I was very thirsty. On the other hand, at least the food I ordered today was not the case. And the salsa they provided with the chips was fresh and tasty. Servers were friendly, too.
I will definitely try more dishes from this place if I feel like having another Mexican food ! Must-try-Restaurant!

I'm from California and I came to buffalo for military purpose and my friend told me about this place. I love the service I got from all the waiters and the mango margarita the best. The food was delicious. Very nice owners. Kind hearted. Willi the best he gave us wonderful service. I went back to catch them on a bad day. But still the same service I got and the chicken doesn't taste rubbery the food continues to be amazing. I'm here in Buffalo again. This is my number one place to eat mexican food. Thank you again. You know when your Mexican is above and beyond when you find these in your food(see below)! So so good. Not too spicy, unless you have baby mouth. Portions are large and in charge. I've been to lots of Mexican restaurants and the rice and beans are usually sub-par lacking any distinct flavor but not the case here. Full of flavor and love!

We sought authentic mexican food and placed orders from their dinners selections. Upon arriving it was warm and inviting and looks like a fun place to have some margaritas and great food. Service was amazing even for the take away. We were so glad we ordered complete dinners all the offerings were delicious, rice and beans and salad and tortillas and chips and salsa and super tasty entrees. Everyone in the busy dining room was smiling and enjoying huge portions and gorgeous drinks. We can't wait to dine in.

The staff are friendly. Maria the bartender knows how to make awesome drink's. Maryann our server was awesome. The food portions are HUGE. I can't wait to go back again. Pics are of Chicken Fajitas and Enchilada Supremas. AWESOME job everyone.

We were a group of 6 and every one of us loved our meals! Not only was the food delicious, the entire presentation was exquisite. I got the chimichanga meal with shredded beef and the meat was so tender.

We arrived close to closing time, and even tho they could have sent us packing.....they did not! We enjoyed our nachos enchiladas rice beans margarita and Corona happily and were served and outta there in record time. Mary Ann and the other staff could still enjoy their Saturday night. Thanks to them all!

Reasonable prices. Great food. Huge portions. Very attentive and friendly staff. Try Don Juans. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and you will need a doggy bag.

The portions. No really, the portions are MASSIVE and the food is so good. Definitely plenty for 2 people to split one entree! All in all, the food and drinks are fantastic and the workers are all welcoming.

Tonight was out first time at Don Juan's. We were greeted by many employees and sat immediately. Our server, Mary Ann, was phenomenal. We ordered our drinks and they arrived quickly. We both ordered 2 chicken dishes. Food was out in no time and hot. The portions huge. So huge that we had plenty leftovers to carry home. The food was delicious! We cannot wait to go back.

Pre-Covid it was so hard to get a table I never had the patience to wait... but today, with no wait all my tastebuds are super satisfied. Great service, they made me some delicious off menu cocktails and WOW are the portions HUGE. For sure try the enchiladas! Besides having to be carried out to my car because I was so full I couldn't walk ;) ... 100% Fantastic! So many Leftovers! Great job guys & gals

I recommend the Polo ala Crema. Perfectly cooked bite-sized pieces of chicken in a lucious sour cream sauce.
My son had the Chimichanga Platter.
Everything was very good.

There is one guy I don’t prefer but everyone else is amazing!!!!! The food is amazing!!!!! The portions for the price ? AMAZING !!!!! I’d recommend this place for anyone who’s looking for good Mexican food. I always get the three taco dinner soft shell chicken tacos and omggggg they are never a miss I tried somewhere else once when they were closed and never again will I do that this is my go to for tacos rice and beans and it should be yours too!!! I also had a large party for my sons 2nd birthday AMAZINGGGGG PATIENT KIND they waited to all 14 of us and were amazing the whole time even with the 6 kids being younger and being a bit obnoxious they were never rude they never seemed aggravated with us or the children it’s honestly just a great place all around and the margaritas are bomb and come in a pitcher size for only 20.99 :) can’t beat that

Went for national Margarita day, stayed for great food and excellent service! Ask for Camille, best service I think I've ever had...EVER! My first visit and won't be the last. I was over looked on the wait list and they quickly made it right. I enjoyed myself there, thanks Camille and bar staff!

Food, drinks and atmosphere is always so AWESOME, and Mary Ann is the greatest waitresses. This is where I love to go for my birthday celebration. ❤❤❤

Love this place. I only wish the veg menu was as great as the meat and seafood menu but still always find something delicious to eat. Sizzling fajitas are a favorite of mine

5 stars all around. Excellent food and great prices. Combo platter comes with 2 mains and 2 sides for $15. The plate was like a serving platter and I took half of the meal home. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Great, authentic Mexican food in Buffalo.
