The food, and atmosphere are great, very modern and comfortable space. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. Prices were more that reasonable. Do not hesitate to drop in a grab a bite and relax for a bit. Free wifi for those that like the coffee house vibe while getting work done!

Nice selection of food, beverages, and even cocktails. Prices are very fair, atmosphere is cool/casual/friendly. Just a nice, cozy spot to hang out, enjoy good music and friends. Love their themed brunches!

Have been wanting to stop by for months. Finally made it in for a breakfast sandwich which was perfect. Place is full of incredible artwork, with one piece taking my breach away. My only regret is not getting here sooner to pop in during the evening to enjoy the lounge. A must try in my book; unfortunately will have to wait as I have relocated.

This cafe is fantastic, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and the place is has a much better layout then the previous establishment that was here. Coffee was fresh and great, the food fits the place perfectly. If your looking for a great place for a quick breakfast, coffee, or lunch this is a great place to go. The staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be coming back here often.

I stopped by The Ground Up for breakfast and the food and music were really good. Also, the staff was very accommodating and welcoming. They make you feel at home and never seem bothered. I would definitely recommend stopping by and supporting this business!

Awesome little spot, the decor is really cool and they also have a pool table and chess board. The food is simple, fresh and delicious and the coffee is the best I've had in Albany. Really looking forward to seeing what the scene is like once COVID lightens up.

This place is so cool. Their tropical mixed drinks are amazing and the staff is very nice. The vibe here is perfect if you're in college. Definitely want to come back not for studying!

My favorite place to grab lunch in Albany hands down! The staff is so friendly and extremely helpful. The food is superb! I’ve even seen the owner jump behind the line and cook when it’s busy. This place has a young cool vibe with outstanding service! 10/10 I highly recommend!

This place is definitely my new favorite spot ! Everyone is so nice and willing/eager to make your experience great. I’ve been to a few comedy shows.. all the comedians had me cryinggggg. Food is amazing. Service is amazing. The place is very CLEAN. They’re very organized. Covid guidelines are in full effect. The list goes on. If you haven’t been here yet, i highly suggest it

The Ground Up has some of the best breakfast food for brunch. I had a NY Strip Bennie and my son had a Bacon Egg and Cheese on a bagel. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere can't be beat. So whether you need fuel before your workout or need to revive after being hung over. This is the spot. They also have smoothies and lattes. I had a Salep latte and my son had a lime seltzer they were delicious.

Had the caprese panini, and arguably was the best panini I've ever had! The staff was also so friendly, the vibes were so cute- great for a young crowd, and the prices were more than fair. Will definitely be going here often!!!

The Ground Up will definitely be a favorite location of mine from now on. It is super clean and the ambience is fantastic. Coffee and food are excellent as well. I definitely recommend coming to this beautiful local spot!

This place was veryy delicious, my fiancé recommended it and with it both being our first time it was definitely worth driving 20 mins for. Coffee was on point as well, I asked for sweet without being specific and it was delicious 👏🏽👏🏽

Just tried this place for the first time today the food was very good and the waitstaff were friendly. They have a nice variety of food and drinks. I will definitely be going back.

Got the Reuben and it was phenomenal. Was talking with the owner when I stopped in and he has some great ideas for the future when business are allowed to open up more. Looking forward to it.
