Great ambiance. Casual food done upscale. Large plates selection not expansive but quite adequate if you have a bigger appetite. Unique self service beers on tap. Highly recommend the Orange Vodka Cosmo specialty cocktail.

The soft pretzel starter was super soft. It came with a mustard and a cheese dip. Yummy, I bet it's amazing in the summer they have a patio that over looks the lake.

Delicious food! Had Parmesan Broccoli Rabe, Tempura Cauliflower that was so good I forgot to take the picture before we started to eat it!

-Younger crowds on weekends.
- A station where you select your beer, pay with a credit card, and go( see photo).
- dining on several floors along with a bar on the top floor connected to the rooftop balcony.
- Indoor and outdoor seating.

TRATA is a Rochester restaurant staple. It's been one of the few that has lasted - because they're doing it right. The atmosphere is comfortable, but elevated.

I'm not a drinker but the bar area and the beer taps look amazing and popular.

You have to try the duck quesadillas. They are AMAZING.

Amanda was one of the best waitresses we've had, although I don't think I can remember one negative experience with any servers at this restaurant in the several years we've been going.

The rooftop atmosphere is so unique and creates an awesome experience.

I typically get their French onion grilled cheese that comes with homemade tomato soup, and the duck quesadillas, and they always hit the spot. Can't go wrong with any choice!

Best food in the price range, can’t believe the quality of steak they offer for under 30 dollars. cooked to perfection, melted on the tongue. Cocktails were phenomenal (definitely recommend the NY State of Mind) Service was great, although she had lots of tables (only one waitress in our visibility) she handled it well. 10/10 recommend.

Our waiter, Frank, was the best! Food was great! Gluten free options were awesome! The white Cosmo was delicious and my husband loved the 3 Heads IPA. Great experience...we celebrated our 32nd anniversary there and were really happy with our choice!!!

What a great place. I understand it can get pricey. However, customer service is dead everywhere but here. We had an event that we attended. Our server was taking care of dinner tables as they were coming in and was very prompt to care for our needs as well, which Probably got busier than he expected. Every single person that I interacted with Was genuinely kind. The food, the drinks, and even the desserts were absolutely amazing!

This is a stunning restaurant. The decor isn't just nice in a flashy or cheap way like so many hollow restaurant designs today. It's truly classic, everything from the brick walls to the choice of wood looks and feels genuine and high quality.

In terms of the food these are some of the best hamburgers I've had in years. They do come very rare if you order them that way so I recommend just getting them cooked medium. The French fries are fantastic, ultra crispy and cooked well without being over cooked.

One of my favorite places to go out to dinner in the city. Adore the beer/wine wall and the chicken tenders are so good. I also love the rooftop outdoor seating in the summer. Always great service. Look forward to eating there again and again.

Very good bar/comfort food. Easily the best grilled cheese I've ever had. The food is fairly affordable, and you even get the bonus of watching the servers skillfully carry huge trays of food on a single hand. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect place for a few beers. This place is huge and looks amazing. Beer was cold and fresh. The menu have a lot of different choices but the food was “ok”.

One of my absolute favorite places to go. Great for business meetings, meet up with friends, date night. The food, service and prices are unmatchable. Above all quality is always five stars round the board.

My first time trying a salmon dish and I'm so glad I picked Trata! I did request it to be cooked a bit more than the standard menu preparation and our server was very helpful with relaying that to the kitchen and answering the questions I had.

I can honestly say that I haven't had another salmon dish as good as this yet, and I've tried several since. I will definitely be back, the tough part will be convincing me to order a different dish since this one is so good! 😄

This upscale bar looks so beautiful and makes a great spot for drinks and a great meal. The new bartender Taylor made great long islands and margaritas. He was very nice and outgoing. The owner made some great tequila sunrises also. I can't wait for them to have the rooftop seating when it warms up. My partner and I had a great time here it's a must go-to place!! I'm thinking about having my birthday here.

Went to dinner with coworkers on a Thursday evening around 5:30pm. We called ahead since we were a party of 7. It was extremely busy, parking lot was very full.

Food & drinks were phenomenal. Love the atmosphere here. I ordered an Amaretto sour and the blackened fish tacos.
Tacos were delicious, can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Loved our first experience to Trata. We felt the warm hospitality of Marcella and great service from Amanda as we explained that we recently moved to the area. They gave us special treatment, although I have an inkling they treat all their customers that way ;) It’s clear that the food quality is top notch and Marcella explained the food is almost all made from scratch whether inhouse or from local vendors.Can’t wait to go back and try more food and drinks from the menu!
