JD, best barber in the Twin cities. Been barbering my hair for 11 years now. Also been barbering my 10 year old son since he was 2 years old. He is very great with kids. My youngest son, who’s 2yrs old been with him since he was one. Very professional and pay attention to the details. Thanks for your great work JD. The shop is great and clean. Positive vibes every time I go in. Most importantly the parking is free. I highly recommend this place, just book with JD.

He did excellent work, and was very quick. Got a very clean fade and nice trim up top in about 25 minutes, after far too much growth from lock down.

The price point is also amazing for the high quality of service. I'll definitely be back!

Moving from Chicago, I had to suffer through a couple of bad cuts before finding this shop. I have been a customer here for over a year now and would highly recommend the shop and specifically my barber (JD) to anyone. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is always welcoming and inclusive. Great shop, JD my barber is one of the best in town. My fades always on point, don't even need mirror at of the cut. JD takes his time and makes sure you're getting exactly what you want. Go online and make appointment you won't be disappointed.

I can't recommend Fades of Gray enough. JD and Dre get busy when you're in the chair. I typically get my hair and beard chopped up and it's always crisp and on point and got me looking like a million bucks.

I’ve gone to Fades of Gray twice now, gotten exceptional haircuts both times. First with Julian, then a hair and beard cut with Dre. I’m not going to lie, Dre gave me the best haircut and beard trim I’ve ever gotten! As I write this I’m waiting for another appointment with Dre and looking forward to another great cut.

I’ve received the best haircut I’ve gotten in a while at Fades of Gray. Definitely a huge step in quality compared to getting my hair cut at a place like Great Clips. The barber Julian who cut my hair was very detailed. He took his time to make things clean and asked a lot of questions to make sure I was getting the cut I wanted. I wasn’t rushed out the door like other places I’ve been too. I also wanted to mention that I have thick Asian hair so I was afraid to go to a black barber shop to get my hair cut but the guys here definitely know what they’re doing. In the end I left the shop feeling the most confident I’ve ever felt in a long time. I would happily return again!

I recently relocated from Chicago, so I've been looking for a great barbershop. This is the one. Dre gave me a full hour, paying super close attention to detail. His fade was super clean and his line up was super tight. I have very straight hair as an Asian, so I know sometimes it's a little tricky to cut my hair, but Dre delivered perfectly. Dre aside, the ambiance is humble and the barbers are kind. You'll definitely feel welcomed and at home here. I highly suggest you check out this place for a clean cut. I'm definitely going to be back for the foreseeable future.
