I recently completed my first dog training class for fundamentals. Paul was a great trainer and made sure that each dog was exceeding in the class. There were only two other dogs and was much smaller than a lot of training companies classes. I definitely recommend coming to Petco for a class, Paul is very accommodating if you have a scheduling conflict. We are going to complete the advanced training class in a couple weeks.

I enrolled my dog into training classes, our trainer was Paul D. I just would like to say that we have been very satisfied with our experience. Paul is a very knowledge trainer and always took time to explain and listen to my needs. If you have a puppy, definitely sign up for training with Paul at the Apple Valley Petco Location. We are definitely coming back for more training.

Everyone at this store is very helpful. They took their time to give me their insight on products due to my cat having a food allergy. I absolutely love going out of my way (I live in Eagan) to go to this store!

We love this store! We’ve been buying our dog food and dog toys here for years. We actually got our dog here through Last Hope 13 years ago. Glad to see them back in the store again. Kudos to GM Dalton for that- Dalton must work constantly because he’s always at the store whenever we go. He always greets us by name and our dog loves him! The store is always very clean and the new remodel is looking good! Shout out to Paul too- he’s always very pleasant and helpful.

Stopped in for a quick purchase of dog food in a roll, refrigerated. Had what I wanted right where I expected it .. A quick simple pickup. Check out person was prompt and thanked me for stopping in. Could not ask for more. Thank you all.

We had our 5 month old puppy trained by Paul D and it was a wonderful experience. Paul is extremely intelligent in his training techniques and really helped us with our pup, not to mention he quickly become our pups favorite person in the world! He is great and I would recommend him and his training services at Apple Valley Petco to anyone.

We brought our puppy Zoe in for the puppy level 2 classes and we’re very impressed with the training from Paul D. He is great with the dogs and Zoe was always excited to see Paul. We will be bringing Zoe back for Advanced training once she is 6 months old.

I’ll be honest in saying I don’t know when I’m at a Petco or Petsmart. Reminds me of when there was an Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples. Did it really matter which one you were at? If you’re picking up a pack of dry erase markers, I’m not gonna bargain shop or compare coupons. Same can be said for whatever place this is listed above. Petco and Petsmart both have fish, dog and cat food, assorted rodents, birds, other birds that are way expensive for some reason, little costumes for dogs, and 10 checkout lanes which I have never seen more than one active. People are nice enough. Except those that own way to many reptiles… you know who you are. You’re the ones that have bumper stickers that say “Beardie on Board” or “all my friends are cold blooded” etc. I mean you lizard people are nice and all, but you are a bit edgy… and not in a bad way…. Just ya know, like if society were to collapse tomorrow, I’d seek out a reptile owner to team up with. You just got that air about you that you can handle post apocalyptic life. Just sayin.

All went well. I was wanting to return an item I bought, but it was one day after the 30 day return policy, so I got a credit. Which is just fine. It was handled quickly and well.

Very friendly staff, helpful and considerate when my friend was trying to find healthy food for his cat without breaking the bank.

Jenna in grooming is awesome! My dog is elderly so she contacts me as soon as she’s finished so less stress time for my dog. She does an amazing job grooming her!!

Used the Vetco for shots for my dog. Very convenient and you don't need to pay for vet fees....

Took one of my cats for her vaccinations through the Vetco clinic. Smooth as silk.

The employee was very helpful about what we need to get started with Guinea pigs or hamsters. He recommended a lot of great products but wanted us to make the best decision for our family and the animal. It was nice knowing he cared more about the animals well being than making a sale.

Customer service is stellar. Staff is knowledgeable and quick to help when there are questions. Store is clean and animals look happy

Our family has been coming here for about 13 years. We started with a hamster, then through the last hope adoption Saturdays adopted several wonderful cats.

Absolutely ADORE Mariah and Kalissa! They helped me out so much after just adopting my pup! So knowledgeable especially since they had the same breed at home! It's our favorite store!
