I had a fantastic experience at 225 Barbers in Minneapolis! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the [quiet and relaxing atmosphere. My barber, Brett , was [very nice and careful. They really listened to what I wanted and gave me a haircut that I absolutely love. how my haircut was a different style and i loved it. Overall, I was very impressed with 225 Barbers and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great haircut in Minneapolis.

Alex was a true professional. She’s a young stylist/barber who performs beyond her years. Thanks for the great service Alex! I hadn’t cut my hair for several years, so she definitely had her work cut 😜out for her.

Brett is highly skilled and a great listener. I've only been to him twice and he's already nailed the haircut, after I've struggled for years to find someone who gets it. Couldn't be happier.

I let my hair grow out as I was too nervous to find another barber because of my previous experiences. I made a haircut appointment same day on a whim because I couldn’t stand my long hair anymore. Rich greeted me and also cut my hair. 11/10 service, character and cut. He was a wizard with the trimmer and sizers and he took care of me through and through! Will be going here as long as I live downtown.

Wow. I have officially found my go-to barber in Minneapolis. Brett was extremely kind and professional. He asked what I wanted and delivered to a T! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will be going again. The cost and timeliness of the haircut was perfect. Thank you, Brett!

I found this Barbershop/Salon based off Google reviews and suggestions. As an individual who travels more than 100+ days a year for work it’s hard to plan out all the perfect hair appointments.

I called the shop and was VERY specific about needs/preferences. The individual on the phone connected me with Brett. I reiterated that I was EXTREMELY nervous about who would cut my hair due to my latest experience in Oklahoma.
She reassured me that Brett was talented, and could handle my request.

Upon walking into the shop I was INSTANTLY greeted by multiple staff with a smile, upbeat, and positive vibe. I waited less than 2-3 min before Brett came around the corner to greet me as well.

INSTANTLY ….. Brett introduced himself, and projected an empathic vibe to my recent experience. He carefully listened to my request, made whimsical comments to create laughter in the conversation, and provided an environment of trust and support.

As the experience continue we shared stories about life, travel, family, and foodie spots. These simple conversation only built onto the trust we established from the beginning.

Brett repeatedly asked me how I was feeling about the cut as we progressed, educated me on my hair, suggested multiple ways I could keep the style how I desired while on the road for work, and made sure to show me the process.

One of my favorite moments was how carefully I watched him study each section of my hair NUMEROUS times to quadruple check the correct length! This attention to detail is EXACTLY what I expect from all my stylist.

Looking for an excellent barber who can do it all? Look no further than Brett at 225 Barbers! I’ve been to Brett 50+ times over the past two or three years and I’ve always left with a great hair cut. He’s flexible with scheduling and still pays attention to detail even after all this time. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Ask for Brett. I’ve been going there for years (over a decade) and love it. Professional. Friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Each of my kids had their first haircuts there also.

Each client gets a wash, warm facial towel and then a post-cut rinse (if desired).

Highly recommend.

Great barbers - I go to Rich who does a fantastic job. He's helped me fashion my head of hair and always gives me a good tip on how to style it better before I leave! I have gone to Brett before too - I like him as well as he does a great job. Overall I highly recommend!

I went to 225 Barbers for a color and a cut and would highly recommend it! Lisa Kay was my stylist and she did an amazing job! She also does manicures and pedicures and has 20+ years experience in the business. Very clean and professional and I will definitely be making this my regular shop.

I walked-in for a haircut two weeks ago. The staff was really friendly and took me in right away. I had a wedding to attend that weekend so I didn't want too much to be taken off. The barber did a great job. He was efficient in his time without sacrificing quality. It cost $27+tip, which is more than I normally would pay, but I would go back again because I know it will look good.

Brett does a great job with my hair and beard, doing exactly what I want (and taking the time to make sure I'm happy) while also making suggestions about things that I could do a little different that might look/work better. Those suggestions have always been right on. I appreciate that balance of willingness to do exactly what I want but gently making suggestions based on his expertise and style. Always a great experience!

LOVE this place! Always a great experience. Friendly staff, very skilled and always give a great haircut and experience. I tell all my co workers about 225 Barbers. No complaints, never had a bad experience, fantastic hair stylists. Also, very affordable for a high quality haircut and atmosphere!

Rich Johnson has been my barber for well over twenty years (where did all that time go?). Everyone here is a pleasure to work with and they're all consummate professionals. Rest assured, they will take very good care of you at very reasonable rates.

Bret has done my hair for years. It is always lovely, both the color and cut. You can not get a better job or a more charming hairdresser. Plus the price is great!

Competitive pricing (esp in the skyway) with top tier service including Harold, a welcoming presence in the shop, who handles leather shining needs. Very friendly environment with professionals who care about their customers.

Everything about this place remains the same with one immense loss, Harold passed away a couple of years ago from COVID. His chair and spirit remain, however.

Incredible and affordable haircuts. Brett cuts my hair regularly and the cuts are amazing. Simply better than other barbers who charge much more. Highly recommend!!
