Scandinavian Designs

Within the past 4 years, we have bought two sofas, a bed and two nightstands, a bench, dresser, and two leather chairs from Scandinavian Designs. With three small kids, everything has held up really well and our home looks and feels high end (but without the price tag). We’re no longer willing to buy cheap furniture that doesn’t stand the test of time. Once we purchased our first piece from there, it has been our go-to place anytime another piece of furniture needs replacing. The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful without being annoying. I’ve also called a few times to ask about availability of products and they were very helpful on the phone. Lifetime customers here!

Had to wait 9 months for my custom Green Velvet 3 Seat Diego Couch. Absolutely love it.
Unfortunately there was some fabric damage upon delivery but Scandinavian Designs worked with me to rectify the issue.

I have ONLY good things to say about Scandinavian Designs. The store is beautiful, product is high quality and gorgeous, staff is friendly and helpful, delivery was quick/easy and the prices are mostly affordable.

I am in love with our new bedroom set and everyone that sees it gives us compliments on how unique and beautiful it is. I will now be visiting this store for any and all furniture needs. Mike, Cheryl and JP were such a joy and we had one of our best days of the pandemic shopping and chatting with them.

Beautiful store with a beautiful collection. Alex was really helpful and funny. We purchased a dining table and couch from them. Although it hasn’t been delivered yet, but I am sure it will go without any hiccups. 10/10 will buy from here again.

If there is a residential furniture spectrum with Room & Board at one end (high price, high quality) and IKEA at the other (low price, low quality), Scandinavian Designs is in the middle (reasonable price, good quality). We ordered a lovely, comfortable sofa with a custom fabric and despite the lead time quoted being very long, we got the piece much faster than expected. So far we love it and we were really happy with the purchase experience. Happy to have this option in the Twin Cities.

Just added the media table to my other Scandinavian Design pieces in this room. I’ve had the sofa and front table for four years. Excellent quality and service, great communication with the sales staff, and such nice clean lines of these items.

Great selection of furniture and the staff is friendly and helpful. No high-pressure sales, but there whenever you have a question. Furniture we ordered was delivered as scheduled, and when we realized one of the pieces wasn't going to fit in our space, the return was easy.

Our best furniture experience ever, starting with a wide gamut of choices on two floors. The salesman understood our needs and taste, suggesting solutions we wouldn't have found otherwise. Delivery was on time as promised. The assembly crew was efficient and tidy and friendly and offered good maintenance tips.

We love our recliners! They are comfortable, supportive, classy, and well-made. We also appreciated the staff member who helped us make our selections - he was very knowledgable!

We have worked with Sam for a number of purchases at this location, all of them have been super smooth and pleasant. The furniture available has a nice premium style but without the crazy DWR-esque prices.

Service was exceptional every visit!!! Emily has been very helpful in coordinating colors and furnishings as well as problem solving when there have been issues. The store manager and other staff members have been helpful as well!

The company could use better quality control as we have received a couple of pieces damaged, dining chair and bookcase backing!!!

We purchased the Otto low bookcase because the height was exactly what we needed to fit under windows. Unfortunately the measurement for the height is incorrect on line. It is 6 inches taller than stated. (48.3" not 42.3"). We did not figure this out until we had put them both together.
Also, the bookcase is not low at all in our opinion. Almost as tall as a Hemnes tall dresser from Ikea. It is beautiful though and is great for taller items such as Lp's and taller books,
So we kept them are using them regardless of the extra height in a different area.

Scandinavian Designs was a good experience. I had just moved to Saint Paul and needed to shop for dining chairs for a new table. As soon as I entered the store I was offered help by a young woman who stayed with me as we moved through the store. I found exactly what I thought I was looking for, and the chairs were delivered to me a week later. Easy-peasy. I recommend Scandinavian Designs for clean lined, modern, classic furniture.

I'm a first time customer who recently purchased two floor lamps and one table lamp from Scandinavian Designs. I could not be happier! The lamps really dress up the rooms where I've placed them AND serve a useful function. Customer service was stellar. Everything proceeded without a hitch. I was especially pleased that the lamps arrived to the showroom a week earlier than expected. All in all, a very positive first experience!

I ordered a chair and ottoman in a style I was familiar with from a friend's home. I placed my order over the phone. The sales person was very helpful. The delivery person was very helpful. My only disappointment is the color, which is not exactly what I expected from the photo on the website, but it's ok.

We've purchased many items at this store and we've been pleased with each one. The recently delivered bedroom set was no exception. We love the style, the price was reasonable and the delivery and setup was quick and professionally done.

My family so happy to find this store. We bought long dark grey glass table and 10 leather chairs more then year ago. We love our table 😊. It easy to take care of it , and it so durable, and it’s very modern style. As a big family we use table and chairs a lot. Many our friends were curious were we got it and we recommend it to them.

Had a wonderful experience buying a sectional sofa from Scandinavian Designs in Roseville. Had a great collection to choose from. They delivered on time and were even kind enough to move some furniture out of the way. Very happy with the sofa and service.

We bought two of the black leather recliners and they are the best!!! They swivel, rock and fully lay back. Our house is extremely modern and they are a great look as they are streamlined and don’t overtake the room. Perfect and I recommend highly!!!
