Great food and service, eat inside or out. The pizza is amazing We had the margarita, Island Vibes a Peaches and cream smoothie, a craft root beer and a Reeds Ginger Ale. There is something for everyone vegetarian, vegan and everyone else. The Island Vibes was great but it has a little zest with the Jalapenos . The Margarita is great a vegetarian favorite. I will be back again.

The food and service are great here. Excellent local and organic dishes, great combinations. I had the Chicken Mexican Quinoa bowl work mango, banana peppers and onions ... Delicious! I tried a slice of pizza that I'd been hearing about, very fresh and cheesey. Great quality of ingredients. I will say, they run out of quinoa often, but if you're willing to wait she'll whip up some more to satisfy her customers.

We tried Rustic Roots for the first time, and they currently (07/2022) have signs saying they’re understaffed, so to place your order at the counter and seat yourself. It’s really not a huge deal—it’s just more like a Panera Bread style service where you order and then they bring it to your table. The food was all good, and it’s great to have so many gluten free options. My husband’s only complaint was he wished the quesadilla had more meat; other than that, everything was good, and we would definitely eat here again.

They also have a little shop within the restaurant selling a wide variety of things, so that’s a fun way to pass some time while waiting for your food.

We got lunch delivered with Door Dash and it was very good! I especially liked the quesadilla, the chipotle avocado crema was really good and I dont normally care for chipotle flavored things. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich and said it was medium spicy. My greek sandwich had a good amount of delicious feta cheese on it. We will order again one day to try other things on their menu.

Hidden gem of Grand Haven. I got their build your own pizza and it was delicious. Additionally, I also got a smoothie that was amazing. They have some really awesome options for food and for those who are vegan or vegetarian. Absolutely amazing restaurant that I will be returning to.

Went with my hubby, first time for both of us and we will definitely be back AND do highly recommend! My husband ordered the California Turkey sandwich on ciabatta and I ordered the chicken quesadilla. They do not skim on their portions and you can tell everything is fresh and made with care. We really liked both of our items!! We are from the Grand Rapids area and decided to order a pizza to go for later that night and next day. The pizza was super good even after reheating! Loved the cheese, rather creamy and the crust was crispy yet chewy. Maybe you could think about opening a Rustic Roots in GR too?! :-) Also offers vegan fare which seems to be limited in GH. Our daughter's choice is vegan therefore we are more in tune to vegan options and restaurants. Have not had their smoothies or their fresh raw juices, but heard others talking out front (we ate outside) that they, RR, has the best smoothies and juices around! Also, the owners, (I think they may have been)were super kind, attentive and friendly. Thank you for a very nice ending to beautiful day by the beach!

This place is an absolutely amazing place to stop for a delicious pizza! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about different food allergies. I had a traditional gluten free crust, and my stomach feels great. My mom had the cauliflower crust and vegan cheese, she feels absolutely amazing after as well. Highly recommend!!

I've only had their pizza, but it is very good, and surprisingly inexpensive for them having a downtown Grand Haven storefront. If you haven't tried it yet, I'd highly recommend it. A 14" two topping (one meat, one veggie) build your own is only $13 (as of 2/12/22). Very friendly staff as well.

Pizza is amazing, incredibly flavorful and made in a more traditional way, and not in a boxed or Americanized way. While under staffed they are still incredibly friendly and provide excellent service, and while each person is cleary performing multiple roles and working well while communicating. Attention to customers is better than more places that have adequate staff. All while keeping a clean area for visitors. I can't wait to come back and try something else or just grab a pizza on a family beach day.

One of my favorite places to go in Grand Haven! The pizza is fantastic. But the pineapple express wrap is my favorite go to! What makes Rustic Roots stand out to me is the owner! Every time I come in she remembers me, and makes a point to say hi.

Yummy delicious food and good service. Going back tomm. For chocolate walnut cheesecake.

Did we wait 35 minutes for our food? Yes. Was it busy as all get out? Yes. Was it worth the wait? DEFINITELY yes! The food was actually mind blowing with flavor! We both got different wraps and each one was delicious! I was way to hungry to take photos like I usually do when I eat some place new but you won't be disappointed in the food here!

The service and food was amazing! Everything was incredibly fresh, I mean they cut the fruit up for each smoothie. The restaurant was clean and had local merchandise for sale which I thought was an awesome touch. This is the first place I've been to that had clearly marked vegan and gluten free options, and the food tasted phenomenal. I feel so blessed to found this gem. If I am ever in the area, I will certainly be there again!

Visiting from NZ and this was by far the best food we have had while here. The pizza was super delicious as was the habanero chicken quinoa bowl and the staff were just lovely. You have to try this place if you are in the area. Yes the service was a bit slow due to lack of staff but well worth the wait.

The best vegan quesadilla ever!!! Great restaurant with a wonderful team serving and making folks feel welcome! This Grand Haven gem is definitely worth visiting! My wife had the turkey cheese and avocado panini and it was great!

Great food and great people! We came in at the last minute with a large party after the weather changed our post-wedding lunch plans. The staff was very accommodating and gave us excellent, friendly service. The food was fresh and tasted good, and they even have gluten-free options. I highly recommend stopping in and can't wait to go back!

Two nights ago, two of us couples had pizza here for our first time, and, we are still talking about it. It was by far the best pizza we have had in a long time. There was an abundance of toppings, and, we loved (!!!) the crust. We can hardly wait to go back!

Such a cute place, clean. Great staff. Our pizza was super good! Classic pepperoni, I had 2 teens with me and we decided it was a total winner. Will be back!

Love this little place! I have sever gluten-intolerance, too, and since the owner has celiac, she is very careful about how she makes the food. I never get sick when I go here. Such good gluten-free options, too! The service is great, and the food is delicious. The food can sometimes take a bit to get out to you, but when you compare the amount of business they do with the amount of staff they have, they clearly do the best they can with what they have. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough!
