Sports Venue Bar & Grill

We had only been here once before for a friend's birthday party but we seemed to like it and planned on coming back. We finally did and were not disappointed. I started with a tall Labatt Blue and the Mrs had a Malibu rum and pineapple. Regretfully I hadn't gotten pictures of our lunches that day but my wife and I both really enjoyed it. In fact she said her hamburger was possibly her new favorite thing, along with the curly fries. She had a simple cheeseburger with the fixin's but it looked to be the definition of a GOOD bar burger (tasted good too, I only had a bite). Myself, I had their version of a Slim Jim and regular fries and really liked both; would definitely get it again provided I don't get hooked on the hamburgers! They do carryout also and we don't live far, so for sure we'll be back either way.

UPDATE: returned 9/24/22 and again was not disappointed at all. Wife and I both got the cheeseburgers with grilled onions and split orders of curly fries and onion rings (see add'l pictures). Mom-in-law accompanied us as well also got the cheeseburger; all three of us were stuffed. They got busy very quickly as Michigan was playing early but the service was good and kept up nicely. For sure we'll be back once again.

Ample parking. Able to be seated right away. Waitstaff was extremely friendly and focused on doing a great job. Food was fresh and served hot. Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Can't wait to eat there again.

Went for the first time with my sister & brother-in-law. We ordered a patty melt (she said it was good), mini breadsticks w/cheese-good, potstickers & dipping sauce (sauce is yummy), beef stroganoff-delicious, and chicken Alfredo w/mushrooms & the side of broccoli cooked with it-fantastic (recommended by our server Karen who was very good)! Who knew a bar would serve good food like that! We'll be back!

Visited here with our daughter who lives in Michigan. Fun time, good food, and LOVE they support animal rescue!

A great place to come with fair prices and fantastic food whether you're watching the game or hanging out with friends. A great atmosphere I would highly recommend.

Sports Venue is a great Garden City staple.

It's a good bar because the games are not cranked up to 11. You can converse with your friends without having to shout.

The Fish tank is still looking great like I remember it.

Of course they have all the great bar food like Fish & Chips and Cheese Sticks; but the thing you want to try is the Cheese Bread. Cheesey, garlic-y and served with Marinara or house made Ranch. It's SO good.

The bar burgers are really good too.

Highly recommend, even if you just want take-out .

Just what you expect. A good local bar with good food. I'll be back when I'm on that side of town.

I am not a local but I have been living with my girlfriend in the area and this has quickly become my favorite local bar.

It seemed like kind of a random spot but the more I went in there, the more I began to love Sports Venue. Great place to meet up with friends and have a chill night or stop by for a game. At the same time, you can have a pretty crazy night there and it seems like everyone in the bar is always in a great mood.

We got nuts on St. Paddy's Day last year (drank a lot) and only spent like $40 each including food which is really tough to do these days. The prices are really good.

The underrated part here is the food. Whenever I get bar food, I have pretty low expectations but Venue proved that that shouldn't be the case. They have no business making alfredo as good as they do. The mini sticks are also amazing.

The staff is always really cool and friendly too.
