Great place. I always buy too much stuff. If you're a hobbyist in any sense of the word you have to stop by. You can get anything from transistors to Halloween decorations to uncut sheets of charlie brown collector cards.

Always a interesting visit. Finding all kinds of things to let your imagination go wild. Everything from A to Z at Ax-Man Surplus.
(Have 2say the tall/younger dark haired employee that was cashier, was diffinately not 2happy 2B there that day. Never had a rude employee help me till then. Smile everything will be okay.)

A magical wonderland for the tinkerer and inventor. Loads of bits and parts to make most anything you could dream of at frankly bonkers prices. For such a scatter-shot selection of merchandise the store was very clean and well organized and the staff was very friendly. As a bonus I'm pretty sure I saw at least one wizard/mad scientist buying parts which just added to the charm of the experience.

I love coming to Axman. It's one of my favorite places to shop. I don't rly have anything specific in mind when I come here, but I always walk out with a few things.

I found a bowling pin here, I've always wanted a bowling pin. I think that's really cool.

Love this place! Tons of interesting items. Some practical some not so, but there’s something for everyone.Allow
some time when you go because the little humorous signs on some of the displays and the amount of products will suck you right in staff are friendly and prices on things are more than reasonable. I give it 5 stars as I think most everyone would. Fun place.

This store is so fun! They have the most random items and they are cheap prices!! From old military radios, to every nail and screw, to science vials and beakers.

Ax-Man's northern outpost is more compact than the mothership, but still full of odd goodies at nice prices. You could call it Ax-Man Express. As a bonus, it shares a strip mall with some interesting tenants.

This store is basically one giant sh*tpost and I love it. It's so freaking bizarre. Very entertaining to simply wander the aisles.

Love love love this place! There's is always something waiting there for you. They audio have funny sayings on some of the item boxes. They lots of unique items. Some harder no longer available anywhere else items as well. Can always find something.

Ax-Man is the place for almost anything you need to do some tinkering with electronics, , fixing almost anything you could possibly fix , , making and or building any hair brain ideas you, and or the kids want to create.... Ax-Man has everything, tools, bearings , older electronics , electric motors, wrapping paper, games , toys , hats , clothes , old military-helmets bags-ammo boxes-gloves ,, mad scientist beaker tubes , I could go on and on about the Ax-Man... I can spend hours in Ax-Man and I never can walk out the door without going home with something, and more times then not, have left with more then a few bags of goodies... Thank you Ax-Man for making a grown man excited and happy everytime I stop on in and have a great time in your store... Thank you again Ax-Man

If you're looking for that weird missing part then look no further. They have all the electronic misfits in inventory. Great place.

Its like an i spy kids book but for grown ups!

I love this place! If you're looking for interesting or odd, this is your place. Gas masks, to toys, weird light's, and electrical stuff. I recommend reading the cards on the boxes, they crack me up. The only store my husband will spend more than 15 minutes in.

By far one of the coolest places I've ever been. This store has everything you never knew you needed. Aisles upon aisles of random odds and ends. I'm pretty sure they sell all the individual parts and pieces to construct a space ship or fix your robot. My 5 year daughter and I spent many hours browsing all the wondrous items.
Employees are legit the nicest and most down to earth people of all time.

Closest thing to a RadioShack we got around here in the Twin Cities. Great store for any kind of hobbyist.

Great odd selection of everything from fabric to vacuum tubes and caster wheels to cowboy hats. Recommended if you need those odd little things. Led strip to unicorn iron on patches. Connectors to components. Great place!

Great store! Got accidentally over charged, went back and they took care of it no problem!! Great employee who helped me! Very professional, and he was super busy! I have loved ax man for as long as they have been open! The signs make me lol every time! It’s a treasure hunt! So many great things for artists! Thanks Ax man!
