Westland Mayor's Office

I been in Westland for 15 years and I love it here no place like the City of Westland and i am willing to step up and volunteer my time in Westland., I would like to say also Thanks to Mayor Wild for a great Night at the Fireworks on Aug. 5,2017 Wonderful Job Mayor.

Being a resident of Westland for over 30+ years. I truly question londeau ability to lead our Citizens & City in a better direction. Looking around I see no shortage of signs posted/Truck rentals plastered to re-election, but what I really see is vacant business & potential loss revenue to our city to make it better. Just taking a neighbor stroll can reveal quite a lot. Even as a resident I try to do my part keeping the area clean including City Owned Property. It's extremely embarrassing just how trashy our city is becoming/headed. I've provided few pictures from spring-fall. If a small fraction of the fund's spent on ad's would be spent on making our city cleaner, and more importantly inviting business to fill the ample empty spaces = Higher police 🚔 presence, Job's & better wages. I have to also question the character of people placing your signs/ad's. Example, 10:45pm out for a stroll. Live on a block with minimal lights/no sidewalk. A dark pickup truck speeding past us, zips to the curbside in front of us, stopping, two men jump out, and began fumbling with items in the back. We immediately stopped waking unsure of the intentions of the men. Just for us to witness them 🔨 in post's and signs?? This is the same area where a disabled 80 year old woman found a strange passed out drunk in her yard. Same area where a man at 8:45am exposed himself naked in a business parking lot & got away to expose himself to another person later that afternoon! I find this completely unacceptable on so many levels. What is truly your intention to better the City of Westland? What's your plan of action? How can we as citizens & residents feel remotely safe with you in a leadership position?

Resignation requested! Have enough decency for the residents and business owners in our city.
