Corewell Health Lakeview Walk-In Clinic

I would like to share my honest experience with this practice during the 2 years I have been a patient. I have never had a doctor as kind, compassionate, and understanding as Dr. Jerod Gardner. He listens to my concerns and strives to resolve issues. I have never had a physician so attentive. The office staff has always been friendly and professional. The ONLY grievance I have is the difficulty scheduling an appointment within a period less than two or three weeks. However, I know that if I am ever in a situation where it’s important to be seen but I can’t get an appointment soon enough, I can still receive care through an urgent care facility. And, my doctor has always returned my call in the same day when calling about a concern.

I just completed my visit with Lakeview Family Health and again had an excellent experience. I was genuinely satisfied with all aspects. Lisa was very friendly and also quite efficient! Also, Faith was able to quickly get my blood drawn, and it’s difficult to get my veins to cooperate. Everything went smoothly as always! Great job!

The receptionist and nurse and PA on Sunday June 4, 2023 we so kind and empathetic. Very fast too. I didn't have to wait long and the appointment was quick and to the point. They got me on the way to get my script really fast. I highly recommend them and will definately go back if I need to.

Went to them yesterday afternoon with excruciating low back pain 15 minutes before closing time and they had me in a room ,took my history and gave me a specific injection I requested for relief without any hassle .Kind and compassionate care from start to finish I highly recommend chosing this clinic if you are in need of good care and efficient staff members . My family of four including two young children have been patients at Lakeview Family Medicine for over a year now and we have received nothing but excellent care. Everyone at the office is very helpful and thorough and the new walk-in clinic is great.

Short wait times, personalized/quality care, clean facilities.

The staff are all nice once you get in there, but that's where the trouble lies is actually getting them to see you in any reasonable amount of time. If you're hoping for an appointment in the same week, forget it. They only schedule 3 weeks out unless you're one of the many people they ask to call when the phone lined open at 7:30am you request a same day appointment, but it's rare that you're actually one of those 2 lucky callers that can actually snag an appointment and even though they have 10 of these, "same day" appointments a week, they still can't be bothered to see you for a same WEEK appointment. Instead, they tell you to go to urgent care, because they seem to have zero ability to differentiate between the urgency of needing to be seen NOW or this is just probably something that shouldn't wait more than a few days. No point in having a PCP who can never actually see you unless you win the same day appointment lottery. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING & DISAPPOINTING!!!!
