Monroe Golf & Country Club

First timing place this course and really enjoyed it! Great layout with a good mix of challenging but fun holes. Par 3’s play tough but there are some reachable par 4’s that make up for it. Not country club condition but not too far behind.. Greens, fairways, and tees all in solid shape.

Pace of play was great as well.

Over this past weekend, I had the most amazing baby shower, held in the ballroom of the Monroe Golf and Country Club. Prior to booking this venue for our special event, I inquired with many of places. Once I connected with Connie, she immediately sold me on the Country Club. The price was just right, and her communication was excellent!! From start to finish, Connie made everything so easy, and beautiful. The staff and food were exceptional as well. We went with the brunch option for our baby shower. If you are looking to book a special event, I highly recommend this venue! Our day was flawless and we received so many compliments from our guests. 5+ STARS for Connie and her wonderful staff. Thank you again for everything!!

Great service, great food and great atmosphere. Shout out to the manager, she is very hands on and made sure our celebration of life was perfect.

My husband and I love golfing here and decided to have our wedding in the summer three years ago. Connie was ABSOLUTELY amazing and was so helpful the entire process. Our wedding turned out perfect, food was amazing and staff very accommodating. We continue to golf every year here and love the wait staff!

Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary tonight!! Was there 50 years ago for rehearsal dinner . Tonight was awesome food was excellent and service was above and beyond wonderful!! Will go here more often. Thanks Monroe Country club for a wonderful night!

Beautiful pool area with several cabanas!

I definitely recommend getting a membership to the pool.

They have a main pool that goes from about 4' to 8' and separate fenced in kiddie pool that goes from 1' to 3' with shaded areas.

The bathrooms and changing room is very clean, they have plenty of kid pool toys, and wait staff that comes around the pool consistently for food and drink orders.

Attended a recent wedding reception here.

As a guest, it was one of the best receptions I've been to. The staff knocked it out of the park. The wait staff made the meal special.

The meal was a buffet. When I heard that, I rolled my eyes and expected bland food. Instead, I was treated to a great meal. The options were a petite fillet, stuffed chicken, or salmon. I got the filet with potatos, beans, and asparagus. While the sides were all good, the steak was perfect. Great cut, and perfectly cooked. Rivaled some of the best steaks I've had at high end chop houses. While I raved about the steak, others said the stuffed chicken was even better.

The bartender rocked it all night. Was on top of her game.

The venue was clean, lively, and was convenient to get in and out of for 150 guests.

Very nice. Food and service were both great. Had our company holiday luncheon there and everything was fantastic. Prices were very reasonable as well. Would definitely suggest it as a good place for corporate events.

I was there for a wedding shower. Food was exceptional! Great selection for all including vegetarian and gf! Management did an excellent job making sure I was satisfied and had food I could eat. The grounds looked beautiful and I saw a pool there too. Only thing I did not see were handicap parking spaces.

If you are considering hosting an event here, congratulations you have excellent taste. Just book with them! Having previously worked in the private club industry, I will admit I went in very skeptical. It's hard not to do that when you've done the job before. On top of that, I'm a foodie who loves fine dining. Needless to say; I tend to have high standards for food and service.
I was here for a bridal shower brunch last weekend and those standards were definitely exceeded. Everything was amazing! Please tell the kitchen and wait staff that everything they did for us was fantastic. I so appreciate their hard work and dedication to excellence. The quiche was prepared so well- that fluffiness is unprecedented, the potatoes were phenomenal (but it's not hard to get me love a carb!), and the pastries were perfectly fresh. Steps of service were perfectly executed. At MGCC, my cup runneth over- literally. Our iced tea was never empty. Well done, team!
