TOASTE

I suggested my team go to our monthly team lunch here this month and it was an amazing experience. There is about 10 people on my team and people working were very nice, attentive and overall amazing. They got us all our food around the same time and they even called us all by name. They lady running the place, who I assume is the owner, was very excited and gave a great atmosphere with her excitement and even the people in the back making the food were present to interact with. The food looked amazing and tasted even better in my opinion. I Will be going again and some of my team members also expressed their interest in returning.

The hospitality here is unmatched, working in restaurants we frequently talk about treating customers like guests. This is one of the first times that I felt that I have genuinely been treated like family.

I wanted to celebrate National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day on April 12th. Some of my friends had suggested that I try TOASTE for a unique Grilled Cheese Sandwich experience. That morning, I ordered the Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich combo with a Bowl of their Herb Tomato Bisque and a fresh, light side salad. The Sandwich was warm, and gooey - the pesto and cheese, along with the nicely toasted in-house-made bread, tasted wonderful together. The bisque, albeit on the more brothy side than creamy, was full of flavor and nice-sized pieces of tomato. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. With vocal jazz playing throughout, it was Mission Accomplished in meeting my Grilled Cheese expectation. I will want to try other sandwiches on their menu in the future.

Toaste is easily one of the best restaurants in the Lansing area, and quite possibly in all of mid-Michigan. Everything is made in house, even the bread which is the most delicious and crispy bread I have ever had. The pesto grilled cheese is to die for and will have you wanting more every time. The desserts are beautifully crafted and very appealing. The fruit smoothie is so delicious and tastes very natural and healthy at the same time. Never have I been so impressed with any restaurant in my life. Would recommend to anyone!

Wow! Went here for a quick dinner and was so impressed! My boyfriend got the indonesian chicken curry dish (really good!) and I got the cauliflower soup (to die for, seriously, so well done) and avocado toast (so good with ricotta cheese). We topped it off with a strawberry toaste which was the perfect blend of crunchy toast, fresh strawberries and strawberry sauce, melting vanilla ice cream, and a thin layer of whipped cream (and they wrote my name on the plate in chocolate)! Everyone was so friendly - the lady who took our order and her son, the chef. Great atmosphere too. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND! We'll be back!

Everyone here is always so lovely! And the food is amazing, whether you're looking for something savory or something sweet.

I prefer the honey toast bites, because they are a little easier to eat and a little less food. I've also had their French onion soup and the avocado toast, which are both delicious. I cannot recommend the sea salt cream tea highly enough. It's great!

We came to the place when they were having a special event. It was for a anime cosplay/special menu. The place was absolutely wonderful the food and the staff was so great. I had a lot of fun and I would recommend anyone to go there.

One of the things I miss most about moving back to the US from Asia is the lovely cafes they have over there. So to find out that we now have one of our own was a delightful surprise. This family-owned local business serves great food and drinks. The service is attentive and very friendly. All the employees make you feel welcomed. The atmosphere is bright and cheery and clean. Love their toast desserts, which are very popular in Asia. But it’s their sea salt cream tea that’s my favorite. Slightly sweet. Slightly salty. All deliciousness. I prefer it warm but also good over ice. Great any time of the year.

Toaste is a great place! We ordered Strawberry Honey Toast, Beef Rendang and Sea Salt Cream Tea. So yummy! Very welcoming owner and great service. Highly recommend!

Likely the most artistically and beautifully served food in mid-Michigan. Treat yourself to one of their incredibly delectable namesake deserts, the rest of the menu is a grand slam as well.

I highly recommend any of the Berry-flavored honey toaste, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Great prices too!

The owners are so genuine and kind! As i was working and eating i could overhear their conversation with the other customers and they really make an effort to connect with them. The smoothie was great and the strawberry toast bites were soooo good!!! 100/10 recommend and I am so excited to come back and study!

Words can’t express how yummy this meal was! First of all, the staff is so kind! They explained what everything was. I know it was a very basic meal but there was so much flavor! The ceaser salad was the best one I have ever had, not even lying. Also the avocado toast was perfect! I really have nothing bad to say at all! Perfect all around!!

Came in with the wife and kids. Sandwiches were delicious as was the desserts. High quality food. Will definitely be coming back. Guy at the register was super nice.

Words can not adequately describe how yummy our food was at TOAST today. The (special) Indonesian beef with rice was tender and flavorful. The salad was fantastic. The sea salt cream tea was a taste sensation! I am sad I did not capture a photo of the gorgeous and amazing strawberry toast. Wow! I highly recommend this place.

This is a fantastic new and unique stop for some delicious options. Their menu is growing but what they do have is founded on a rich homemade bread. Their main option is currently a dessert called Honey Toast or Bites. They have a grilled cheese using the same bread too. I had their Sweet Strawberry Honey Toast and it was just sweet enough, very filling, and the homemade bread was great. The atmosphere was also great and there was plenty of seating with booth options including a charging spot if you want to chill. The owner is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Toaste for a unique bite.

This is a great place to eat, relax, and just plain visit!!! The owner CuCu (Choo Choo) is absolutely fabulous! I recommend eating there any day of the week, but especially Thursdays or Fridays when they make the Indonesian dishes!! I highly recommend the beef rendang!!!
