11/8/2023 ☆☆☆Update☆☆☆ Dinner was absolutely fabulous 👌. Chicken soup, Carpaccio, and Roasted half Chicken! Delicious!

This was my first visit, and most definitely not my last. Very enjoyable, healthy breakfast. Fresh and very "Tasty" Outstanding coffee! (How often is breakfast ruined with bad coffee, not here). Very nice setting in Ada Michigan. Ada Village is a quaint area with excellent restaurants and shops.

A lovely place for Brunch. Their menu had sections like heads, tails, soups, etc. Service was with a friendly smile. Even though it was crowded the waitress stopped by multiple times and checked if all was good. Would recommend for special occasions dining.

Over the weekend, I enjoyed breakfast at this welcoming spot in Ada with a friend while we waited for our group to finish up their 'aquarun'. I had the cortado that was pulled delightfully. The latte was a classic latte that hit the spot after being up since 6am to cheer on our friends racing.

The Patatas Bravas were amazing! Thanks in large part because of the seasoned roasted potatoes that were served with a savoury ancho sauce and garnished with chopped bacon and garlic aoili! To balance it and to help cut through the heartyness, it also had pickled red onion and microgreens.

The OG sandwich was a classic sandwich made with their house milk bread that I went with their chorizo. The bread was light and the chorizo was mild. If you're looking to do a classic breakfast sandwich and elevate it with garlic aoili and a freshly made bread, this would hit the spot.

Service was great. Weekend rush will require a slight wait, but not too bad depending what time in the morning you go.

If you find yourself in Ada, MI and looking for a place that serves yummy food and good espresso, swing by and check this place out! Then go for a walk nearby to their historic covered bridge and enjoy the river and lake to walk off all the food. 😉

Loved everything about this restaurant; the food and drinks were beautiful AND tasty. Highly recommend the Mountie sandwich! It's sweet, savory and filling! Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options as well.

We came in for breakfast yesterday. We were in the area for a concert. The food was really good! Probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in a while. Their ingredients were fresh and the bread was from a local business. Love that they had vegetarian/vegan options as well as some high protein options. The sourdough bread was amazing! We will definitely come here again if we’re ever in the area.

Friendly staff, unique menu, beautiful space, a bit loud when full. I’ve had several coffee drinks and all are just as good as any other boutique coffee shop, the only disappointment was the hot cocoa (tasted like Milk and no chocolate) Food is DELICIOUS, super fresh and pleasantly unique. High recommend, cool small outdoor patio as well.

MudPenny has become a regular breakfast and lunch stop ever since it opened. The friendliness of the staff is only surpassed by the quality of the food, which is made with simple, quality ingredients paired together for an amazing combination of flavors. Great in all seasons with a modern interior, but the outdoor patio in spring, summer, and fall is a nice addition.

Officially obsessed with this place. Number of brunch dishes are a little limited but not a problem because they all taste great. Great service, good vibes, good food... Exceptional way to start the day.

Favorite spot for brunch. The espresso matini is the best in town!! Love the different food options, not the same old same old. Photo is the "wild card" with extra biscuit.

Love the coffee drinks! It’s a perfect breakfast/brunch place. I would avoid dinner.

The food was great, as was the service.
I love how everything is locally sourced, and they have a display where it is from. The price reflects that, but the good was great. The homemade hot sauce was good, but the homemade root beer was a miss (was it a riot beer seltzer?)
I would come back again and I recommend it.

Came here for brunch today and it was amazing! The Cafe Miel is one of the best I have had, and ‘The Wild Card’ is such a tasty, balanced dish. I also had some of my husband’s ‘Kevin Malone’ and it was wonderful as well! My only suggestion is having substitute meat options (turkey sausage, vegan sausage etc.) as we don’t eat pork but our server/the kitchen was wonderful at accommodating our needs and substituting pork for chicken. There was a bit of a wait for food but our server and the chef came out multiple times to check on us and apologize for the long wait. Wonderful service throughout the entire restaurant and we very much appreciated the hospitality. Great restaurant for chill vibes, great service, a healthier meal and tasty food!! 10/10.

I have two experiences to share (customer & employee):

Customer: This is my favorite place to work and clear my mind! The staff is lovely and the environment is outgoing - sometimes high-pace yet I can still focus and get my work done. The food speaks for itself and I love knowing the kitchen is focused on quality over quantity. I also love to just unwind over a coffee; it's the perfect place for any occasion.

Employee: I could not recommend a place to work more. The staff is incredibly hard working and continuously strives to support each other. They are truly focused on customer experience.

This is a great option for anyone, no matter what your dietary needs are. You’re not giving up flavor or deliciousness by eating gluten or dairy free. Their vegetarian offerings are tasty as are all of their other menu items.
I love the menu being divided between ‘heads’ and ‘tails’. My personal favorite is the resolution. Instead of tofu, I add scrambled eggs. The windmill cookie pancakes are a favorite of the small people in my life.
The coffee. I love the maple bourbon latte but have never been disappointed in any of my choices.
The Ada location’s dinner menu is excellent. Everything is creative and fresh and again, I’ve never been disappointed.
The staff is great and the servers are friendly and efficient. They’ll give you honest recommendations and I always appreciate that.

We had a great experience here. The food was delicious. The drinks were wonderful. I recommend the Mud-Tini or chai.

Coffee was fairly priced and tasted excellent! We got the macchiato and lavender latte; both were displayed beautifully. The barista Jackson was great too. We will for sure be coming back!

Grabbed some coffees to go. Staff was kind and very helpful! Their Christmas windows were also so cute!

Delicious 🤤 everything was sooo soo yummy. We had the sweetest waitress.

My wife and I sat on the patio on a beautiful august evening. We ordered a couple of cocktails and listened to some live music while waiting for the chef to prepare the few dishes we ordered. We were not disappointed. The cocktails were excellent and the food was incredible. I wanted to try more but was too full. We will be going back again to try their breakfast and again to try more of their dinner. We don't get out together as often as we'd like so when we do, it is important to have a good experience. We had a great experience here from top to bottom. 100 percent would recommend.
