The service is top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who guide you through their coffee offerings and ensure quick and efficient service.

Madcap is worth checking out! They are experts at their craft. This location is also where they roast all of their coffee. The baristas were extremely knowledgeable and Janeigh was personable and a delight to talk to! They even gave us a free sample of their refreshing sparkling tea, perfect for a hot summer day! They make all of their own syrups and source as many local ingredients as possible.

I had an ice vanilla latte and it was superb. You get a true espresso drink with a warm vanilla flavor without it being too syrupy or sugary. It was the perfect balance of espresso, vanilla, and milk!

The building is gorgeous as well. Modern and sleek juxtaposed against a beautiful mural on the roasting side.

My wife and I cannot wait to go back for a tour of the roasting facility!

Made a stop in Grand Rapids on our way back home and was happy to stop here for a quick caffeine lift! Got the cortado and it was excellent. The vibe of the place is somewhere I would definitely stop to do some remote work for the day. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff!

Always love stopping in here. Doesn’t matter which location, Detroit to Grand Rapids. Their coffee is superb and the people are fantastic! Some of the absolute best coffee in the Midwest. Responsibly sourced, ethically maintained- they’ve been working with their coffee farms and farmers for years to make sure this supply chain is upheld. Worth the effort. Worth the money to support it. Definitely a treat.

The effect cortado. You have options of which espresso you want your drink made with. I tried the eureka and it was excellent! Great location walking distance from Fulton market.

The coffee is here is exceptional - extremely high quality. And I always have the best customer service. There is one young man that is so sweet and so informing. I love the taste of there coffee and specialty drinks, all year round! Great atmosphere as well, great for studying or as a place to meet.

This was the smoothest most delicious cup of coffee I have ever had. Alittle expensive but you are paying for quality and an artistic cup of coffee. Brûléed chocolate on top. A cup of heaven on earth

If you’re in GR, this is a MUST try coffee shop. The vibes are immaculate, and lattes are even better. I got the vanilla latte with oat-milk (basic, I know) - but it was so tasty and did the trick to bring me back to life. $6 for it, which isn’t bad compared to other shops (and Starbucks). Great place to work, If you can find a table!

I'm usually a cappuccino type of a person, but I saw the seasonal menu and decided to try Ope! All berries nitro. Oh my! Super berry delish! Perfect for a hot summer day.

I love coming here. The drinks are always top tier and the baristas are nice and accommodating. Seriously feels like I’m with family, in the best way.
Cienna and Stefania are the OG bests and it’s been really nice to meet/be helped by Miguel, Jenae, and Shaela. Madcap is seriously doing something right in their hiring department because I haven’t met many crews that are as cool and kind.

Cappuccinos and Cortados are my favorites but the seasonal stuff is always a treat :)

The absolute best coffee stop in Grand Rapids. It’s a bit out of the main downtown area and has a reasonable amount of outdoor and indoor seating. There’s a ton of street parking, especially down the side roads if the main road is full.

The staff here is well educated and you can attend the occasional coffee roasting tour with a tasting. Their staff is incredibly well educated and fully capable of helping you get the most out of your coffee experience here.

My sister and I dropped in with our little ones and we both loved the atmosphere, smiling service and best of all our chai tea! Most definitely will be a great spot for meet up’s!

Loud echos in this converted garage. Excellent Cortado. Friendly and helpful staff. If you like a white and clean vibe, this works. I'd love to come back when it's warmer and the garage door is open seating to outside.

If you are fussy about a great cup of coffee, this is the place. Three Grand Rapids locations serving house roasted beans from around the world. Absolutely delicious and brewed perfectly to order.

Clean feel, good vibes, good coffee GREAT waffles. A must go to location if you want any of the above. When it's nice they open the garage door to bring the beauty outside in. Plenty of space to work or have a cup of coffee with a friend.

Excellent coffee and very cool location - especially in the warmer months with the indoor/outdoor seating options. I credit Madcap with introducing me to the world of craft coffee years ago and becoming more globally and sustainably minded. From farm to cup they support their partners across the globe, help us learn the world of coffee, and make positive local impacts as well. Their shops are zero waste and they are incredibly transparent in their practices. The baristas are extremely knowledgable and will help you find the perfect drink. Did I mention their coffee is astounding?

Amazing coffee joint. My girlfriend got a latte on our trip here and it was some of the best tasting coffee that’s ever touched my lips. The options are very scarce, but they make up for it in the quality of their product. It’s a bit pricey also, but again the quality is very above average. If you find yourself in the downtown market in Grand Rapids you need to get a coffee here.
