My very very favorite bookstore! Every trip feels like a treasure hunt. And no matter how often I come, I keep finding more unique books to fill my shelves. The owner is delightful to returning and new customers. She somehow makes going to a bookstore feel less like shopping and more a relaxing and fun event.

Very nice find ! I walk by here often and decide to stop and look, lucky I did as they had several titles that I was interested in reading. Picked out 3 , plan on coming back again after I finish reading these. Owner was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Pricey, but I think they are reasonable , after all a small business has to turn a profit, otherwise they wouldn’t be in business.

This bookstore is amaaaaazing. Honestly probably one of the best used bookstores I've been to. Fantastic selection of C.S. Lewis books, so it's a must visit if you're a Lewis lover. There's books everywhere, including shelves and shelves in the basement. Most of the books are reasonably priced ($3-$5), but there are quite a few used books for $10, which seemed a bit on the pricier side for a used book. The poetry section seemed to be mainly on the higher side which was a bit of a bummer.
Overall, it's a must visit, though, and I highly recommend!

A gem in the Eastown district. Stacks upon stacks of paper goodness. This is my local bookstore. The spot I can go and find the books I want to fill my shelves. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. And the books are plentiful and various! Definitely check out Redux!

Great bookstore with that bookstore smell we all love.
Great selection of affordable and non-affordable (to me) collector books.
This place has books on many subjects, but it isn't for everyone. If you want romantic vampire books or horny werewolves with 75 gray wangs then you need to go to a chain bookstore where they specialize in garbage.

And the owner is nice.

A very cozy and quiet used book store. Although I am not a voracious reader like my fiancee, it was still great fun to look at all the books that people liked to read 30-80+ years ago. In fact, I picked a copy of Dante's Inferno that had beautiful woodblock prints in it.

Large selection of used books and reasonably priced. They also have some pretty cool first editions. The extra touch was a box of toys for my toddler to play with as I looked around.

Great used bookstore with awesome customer service! I called recently and spoke with the owner (who was very friendly btw) about a particular book title. He let me know that he knew of the book and has seen it come through before but it was not currently in stock. Unbeknownst to me he must have noted the title and my phone number and lo and behold the book came through a few days later and he called me! I was thrilled at his customer service and very happy to be getting the book I wanted and from a local business. Win - win! :) Give em' a try next time you are looking for a book!

Expect mountains of books and organized chaos, like any respectable used bookstore. The owners are friendly and helpful...the reason I prefer Redux to the place next door. They have a good collection of classics. Have to stop in if I'm in the area..."just to look"...

Every time I go into Redux the Owner is incredibly kind, generous, and resourceful. The staff is uncommonly knowledgeable and, if they don't have the product in stock, are full of other recommendations or local places where you may be able to find what you're looking for. The books are always well priced and in good condition.

While mass-publishing has done much good for modernity, at the same time it has brought a wretched curse unto us: the uglification of books. How many libraries and bookstores today boast many---if any---books with a design representative of the truth contained therein? Few. Most people have become complacent to the grotesque brutalism which has tricked down from art to architecture, fashion, food, media, book design, and nearly every other facet of life once good and wholesome. When one thinks of a classic book, he imagines a thick-covered, properly-bound tome tied together with flax threadwork, a vibrantly-striped headband, and three raised bands crisscrossing a durable spine, with pages of Venetian marbling and woodcut prints encasing a font which glides across the page like butter on a hot skillet. "Don't judge a book by its cover," one may retort, but this exterior beauty and structural intentionality is a reflection of the interior beauty of the book's content. When we abandon this for the beige placidity or abstruse mess nearly modern book falls into, we lose sight of the metaphysical need we have for beauty. We are ontologically starving ourselves to death.

Shops like this are at the secular front of the war between the ugly and the beautiful, selling traditional books whereby one can beatify his library while the Truth beatifies his mind. This is not a war we can afford to lose.

Tons of selections to chose from, my only complaint is they may have too many books, it can be hard to find what you're looking for because of the sheer number of books in the building. Super friendly service too! A great place to find less expensive books.

I like this place. They specialize in older antique-like books, but also have a solid selection of regular used books as well. Also have a autographed book section. The owner has been super kind and helpful when I've needed help finding things. I will be back.

I went there for the first time a few days ago with my room mates. I'm not sure why people are saying the owner was rude :( He was very nice and quite funny when we were there. The basement of books was awesome. You'll for sure get lost down there for hours finding new books to read :)

Extremely fun used and antique books store. It has books stacked floor to cieling throughout. Stop there on a walk through East Town along with Argos nextdoor. Friendly clerks are always good to interact with.
