The Works Café

This has always been a favorite sandwich place, I grew up going here and its nice to come back and see things have stayed the same. Maybe its the tism, but I cannot say enough about the artichoke panini. It is to die for.

Many food choices besides bagels, tho the bagel choices are widely varied. Makes for hard decision on what to pick! My jalapeño cheese bagel w/veggie cream cheese tho was perfect and hot he spot, yum. Coffee was hot & delicious.

Online ordering process is super easy and food is always ready on time even when busy. I love the quick and affordable breakfast and lunch options! The rye bagel with veggie cc, sunrise breakfast burrito, & honey bear smoothie are my faves so far.

I love this place and order from here often. I have my favorites and not everything I’ve had there I’ve enjoyed though. The bacon is always overcooked and is sometimes bitter. Love the veggie sandwich! The bagels are great.

Love this place, they never disappoint.. food is always amazing and love how it’s locally sourced and healthy ingredients. It’s my go-to for breakfast and lunch.They have great smoothies too!

Food there priced well for taste and quality. Dagwood with crispy bacon bits on it slaps. I would add a photo of the sandwich but I ate it too fast.

I had a Mocha Latte and egg sandwich. Both were outstanding. Service was good and the staff pleasant.

Great food and tasty coffee. I has a quinoa bowl and a latte and would definitely order each of them again. It’s somewhat removed from the wharf so I didn’t see many tourists in the morning. It’s a great local spot.

The quinoa bowels at Bagel Works are the best thing in the world! Delicious and very satisfying. You have to check them out!

Been going to The Works in both Concord, NH & now Portland, ME seems to be same high quality accross locations. Excellent breakfast wraps.

Walk by here all the time but finally stopped in for the Portland Iced Coffee challenge. The outside doesn't stand out but inside is beautiful and cozy, I'd definitely be back to dine in or do some work at. The sunrise burrito was great with fresh ingredients from local farms. This reminds me of a much stepped up local version of a Panera bread.

I got the vegan harvest bowl and it was delicious! I also got a bagel with tofu veggie cream cheese and it was very good

It can get busy with to go orders at lunch. I suggest you either call in ahead or use the app. The food is great.

One of my favorite spots in town for over 10 years now. They have my favorite breakfast sandwich, veggie sandwich and salad in portland.
