I love this place so much, they truly transformed my hair it was frizzy and I could never seem to get it cut they way I want but Rachel did an amazing job and gave me so much more confidence with my new look. If you have textured hair and your not sure how to fix it this place is your go too!!! The staff is so welcoming and the overall vibe is amazing!! 10/10 will go again

Rachel gave me a fabulous haircut today. But even more amazing is Rachel herself. She spent time consulting with me and in her joyful and personable manner held a delightful conversation while cutting my hair with precision. This was my most enjoyable haircut! I’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely love this salon! Steve is the best! He has taken care of my hair for the last two years and is very skilled. He is kind and knowledgeable about hair and my hair needs. I just say what I want and he runs with it! Haven't had a bad hair day with this guy! I highly recommend this shop! His co owner is amazing too! Go get your hair done, you wont regret it!

This establishment has been in the heart of our community for decades because of their outstanding talent, and customer service. Steve is a true artist with his shears as is his buisness partner. I had long hair that I knew I was going to lose because of my upcoming chemo and wanted to try a short cut out before losing it. I told him I wanted something that would be flattering to the shape of my face and about how short I wanted it, then just trusted him with the process. I absolutley LOVED the cut he designed and now that I am cancer free I will have him work his magic again when my hair grows back.

kelly jo did the most amazing job on my hair!!! i am personally traumatized after i had all my hair cut off when i only asked for a trim LOL, and kelly jo did my hair totally PERFECT!!!! she just texturized and trimmed my hair and it came out exactly how i wanted it!!! thank u guys so much !!! <3333 also, can confirm that these guys know how to cut alternative hairstyles!!

I have gone to International Hairways since the day it opened as British Hairways in a different location down the street over 30 years ago. Trusting someone to cut your hair so it looks good is essential. Steve and Claudia are those people. They also only hire stylists that are also excellent at their craft. Both Steve and Claudia watch those they hire closely and ensure all customers have a superb experience.

I went to International Hairways with my entire bridal party (8 girls, my mom, grandma, and aunt). We booked the entire morning with Claudia, Steve and the rest of the staff. We had such a fun time the entire morning! Claudia and Steve made the place feel like home. Every one of my bridesmaids' hair turned out beautifully. I loved my hair for the day as well. Claudia and I did a hair trial a few months before the wedding to finalize what I wanted and was expecting on the big day. My hair turned out even better the day of and last ALL DAY (mind you this was a huge deal because it was POURING all day). I would book my wedding party hair there again in a heartbeat and wish I could because the day was wonderful and exactly how I imagined getting ready for my wedding.

Absolutely love this salon! Because of Steve he is the best! He provided me with care of my hair the last visit. He listened to what I wanted as far as color. And I absolutely love the vibe he brings to the salon he is very skilled. He is kind and knowledgeable about hair and my hair needs. I just told him what I wanted and he runs with it! He definitely gives me Great feedback to make sure he won't compromise my hair. Amazing work!!!

I love coming to International Hairways for a fresh cut! All of their staff are so inviting and friendly, they really make you feel a part of their family. My stylist KJ has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for years. Her ability to transform any type of hair is amazing. She listens to what you want and offers great suggestions for what would look best! This salon is 10/10, would definitely recommend!

Kelly Jo (idk how to spell her name sadly) is AMAZING! Amazing conversation and she recommended such wonderful and specific products for my hair. I will definitely be going back to her! My hair has never felt smoother or healthier

The best hair salon in the Chicagoland area. My husband and I have been a client of Claudia’s since IH opened for business years and years ago. Over the years I’ve colored, cut, tried new styles and have never been disappointed. Claudia is absolutely amazing. On occasion, due to my schedule, Claudia wasn’t available and I’ve also had my hair cut and colored by Steve and Maria both are also amazing stylists. You will never go wrong choosing International Hairways for your hair care.

KJ is always my go to girl! She is very knowledgeable, honest, and always keeps my hair healthy ! The whole staff is very friendly and I love the homey atmosphere at this salon!

I've been having my hair cut at International Hairways for years. Even after we moved out of Crystal Lake, I still make the hour drive (each way) to have my hair done. As my dirty blond hair started getting gray, it was looking dull. Claudia has been highlighting my hair, with a color that is a match to my original, to help give it a little sparkle, without making it obvious that there is any color added. Just what I was looking for.

My stylist Claudia is an artist in every sense of the word. The vibe in the salon is upbeat and fun. It's like walking into the Cheers bar but for hair. It's where everybody knows your name in a really good way!

Having had some unfortunate and expensive hair experiences in the past, I was recommended to this salon by someone whose blonde highlights were just perfection. This salon is unique and gorgeous on the inside. I was greeted by one of the owners who graciously took care of me the day before an event even though it was near business closing hour. The owner spent individualized and focused attention on my hair, my needs and wants for color and gave me insight as to what would be realistic and healthy for my hair. The owner Steve was extremely knowledgable and personable. He genuinely had great conversation with me while he continued to work even after salon close to help me achieve my best hair color. The salon is modern and organized and uses only the best hair color products (again I have been though almost all of them for blondes). Just the definition of amazing customer service and professional hair done right the first time. Will be back and recommending to everyone.

I have never been to the salon but am a fellow hairstylist nearby and want to say claudia and Steve are two of the nicest people you will meet. She has a ton of experience has a great spot and just from talking to her she or any of her girls will take care of you! International Hairways is a wonderful salon! I love Claudia, she is one of the owners and my stylist. The staff is so very friendly and it's kind of like a daily atmosphere... everyone there knows you and cares for your well being. Claudia keeps up with the latest trends and truly cares about hair.
