Great place. First time there & not unhappy. Would go again if in the area. Price was great, too.

2022: Fridays they have ayce Cod baked or fried. We had fried, it was really good. Paired with their Parmesan Garlic Potato Wedges. Yummmm!

2019: The stuffed mushroom and swiss burger and the pork chop dinner were both delicious.
Definitely be going back to try other things that looked good!

Fun place! The Reuben is fantastic, and DO NOT MISS the potato salad! Good food, good prices, upbeat atmosphere, friendly service. Glad we stopped by!

The food was great , bar was packed but the one bartender/waitress/clean up gal was excellent. She ran her tail off!

It would be easy to overlook The Railway as "just another bar," but the chef means business. Most things (maybe all?) are made in-house vs. coming in frozen. Such a delicious surprise.

We meet our son in Pecatonica and he called us and said that he was at The Railway. We had dinner and drinks and the place was great. Food was very good especially the potato wedges. We will be back.

To familiarize myself because I’m a cook, I decided to order the corn beef sandwich, I’ve always said you know a restaurant makes good food if the corn beef sandwiches are good, i was very impressed with it . Will definitely be back , excellent service and place is very clean . Definitely a hidden gem in pecatonica , a must stop if you’re hungry.

Get the salmon and coleslaw- you won’t be disappointed! Prices low for quality of food. Nice laid back, yet still somewhat classy atmosphere.

Great sports bar-and-grill! Clean. Great service and exceptional 1/2 pound burgers 🍔..I have been there twice and both times were excellent.

I have never been here. Food was good. A nice country ride to Pecatonica. Good service. Video slots were fun. A nice atmosphere for something different to eat in a small town. It was my treat for my daughter for her birthday.

Always fresh from the kitchen. Hot food served hot and cold food served cold. Thumbs up!

Buffalo chicken wrap was amazing and the variety of sides offered was pretty good too. I had the garlic parmesean wedges which were tasty as well. My son got the baked Mac and cheese which was also delicious.

Best fish fry around... We gladly make the drive from Byron to Pecatonica every Friday we can for the delicious fried cod. The drinks are decently poured and the waitress is generally responsive to our needs considering the amount of tables she covers. You just have to remember to come early if you want to be seated quickly. Small bar with great food and libations.

Excellent food. Finally a chef in Pec who knows how to make a medium rare burger when you order a medium rare burger. Way overdone every single time everywhere else!!! Had to finally say barely cooked at other places and that's the only time they got what I said right. It was almost raw, which isn't how I wanted it. I thought barely cooked may be medium rare to them lol

Great Food. Cool atmosphere. CLEAN. Daily specials are always worth it. Hot Wings are good. Family friendly. Been there several times now recently.

What a great addition to Pecatonica. Met the owners and they are truly passionate for there business. My wife and I came in on Saturday and had the ribeye special and it was cooked perfect and had an outstanding flavor. My wife had the pork chops and again just perfect. We will be back!!! Thanks again for all the hospitality!!!

Very cool atmosphere and decorations. Awesome AYCE fish dinner on Friday. Healthy sides to keep their customers around for a while. Enough TV's for everyone's favorite game.

Meat must be the speciality! Burgers BEST, asking for how you want it cooked 😋

Stopped for lunch. Great menu!
The bartender said almost everything is homemade. I'll be back.
