I rarely write reviews. This is the third time taking my car in for service with these folks. These guys are honest, do high quality work, and reasonably price their work. I am amazed at the consistency from the 3 times I have taken the car to the shop. Every single time they have over delivered on service. These guys care about their customers, whether you're a first timer or a third timer.

Bottom line, good luck finding a better shop. Thanks again guys!

I highly recommend here if you need any car repairs done! Very honest and reasonable price. Great customer service and they really care about your car. My car was fixed in a very timely matter which I really appreciated! I would definitely come here again if I needed another car repair!

Once again partners in performance went above and beyond my expectations! I made a last minute late night appointment online. I had a check engine light go off just the day of making appointment. Appointment was accepted as soon i place it. Car was diagnosed that morning within me dropping it off just minutes. The most important thing to be noted was this was our only form of travel as to its our only family vehicle. Ed knew the urgency to have it repaired as soon as possible. Sure enough by the end of the day I received a call saying the vehicle was ready for pick up! I can't thank partners in performance enough! I have been bringing my cars into these guys for the last couple years and I am fully satisfied. They have always been helpful, honest, and willing to take the time to explain the work done to our cars to both my wife and I in a way that is easy to understand. I've not once felt pressured or rushed into a decision on maintenance or service items that I didn't feel comfortable with. I've had varying degrees of issues happen to my cars and they've handled them all very well and professionally. I had a reoccurring issue with a shock that I brought back in months later after being initially charged and with no questions asked and no additional charges, they worked on it again and made it right. I appreciate the work these guys have done for me and my family--they have earned my trust!

What an excellent experience my wife had when she took our car in today. She only intended to get a quote, but James immediately took the car back and, within an hour, had fixed the side mirror that had been out of alignment for weeks. He kept my wife up to date on their progress and made sure she was comfortable in the air conditioned office while she waited. This kind of attention to detail and customer awareness is something rarely found these days and we could not recommend this company more highly. We will NOT be taking our car back to the Mercedes dealer...we will only ever bring it back to James and Tyler at Partners in Performance. Thank you to Clark's Auto Care for the recommendation. Both of these companies are top notch. You won't be sorry you entrusted your car to either one.

I never leave reviews. Genuinely surprised with these guys. Honest and high quality work for a very affordable price. I had them install an aftermarket part, they were good in their communication of the installation details. They are also very nice people. I will definitely come back here for future service.

Partners in Performance is a very reliable and professional shop. They assure that you understand the work needed to be done and why. The prices are competitive and fair. We will always return for any work needed on our cars. A great family owned business that cares about their customers!

I was looking for a local mechanic in the Naperville area to diagnose my check engine light and started calling auto shops in the area on Yelp. When I got on the phone to speak to James, I could immediately tell he was knowledgeable and brought my car in for its first repair I've ever done on it. James was able to diagnose it right away and was very patient with me. The repair was prompt and he received the part I needed within the same day! After his fix, my car ran better than before, with better mileage! The price was definitely reasonable and he was able to walkthrough each aspect of the costs. It was a pleasure working with him and if I'm ever in the area again in need of repairs, he's my go-to guy!

Can't say enough about James and Partners in Performance! I live in Minneapolis and was looking to purchase a vehicle from a dealership in Naperville but didn't have a way to take it to a shop to get the vehicle looked at. Long story short, I emailed James out of the blue to discuss my situation to which he promptly replied and we set everything up within 8 hrs of James receiving my email. James performed a thorough pre-buy inspection and provided a report complete with pictures of what was described in the report! How great is that?! To anyone reading this, don't think twice, go to Partners in Performance and talk to James! Great job James,congratulations on setting the standard on what excellent customer service should be.

If you drive a performance vehicle, or build one, that's never quite fast enough, agile enough, or light enough; then James and crew are seriously the best partners you can have.

They've installed several mods for me now and I must say their work is truly flawless and the results are just outstanding. From talking to the team, it's obvious that they have a deep trove of skill, knowledge and experience to pull from for every facet of an automobile.

To elaborate; they catch things before they go boom, give good advice and make sound suggestions that are never motivated by anything but you and your vehicles best interests. While I have yet to get to know Tyler, his work speaks for itself.

If you love your car but can't do the work yourself for whatever reason, or if you need guidance on the next stage of performance, this crew has, and will, get it done with results you'll see and (more importantly!) FEEL!

I know it takes a long time to find a auto repair shop that you trust and I found mine in partners in performance. Just recently I brought my wife's car in to get checked out as all the dashboard lights were on and the car was stuttering. I'm thinking total catastrophe. James was able to easily determine that the cause oddly enough was do to lack motor oil. I made the mistake of not taking my wife's car to get her oil changes at pip and it appears that the last place she took the car for a change either didn't do the change or did not add the correct amount of oil back in. James fixed it easily and cheaply where I believe many other shops could and would have easily taken advantage of my situation and charged for repairs I didn't need. I'll be a customer here indefinitely.

Great service and location. James at Partners in Performance (PIP Auto) provides an honest assessment of the problem and required repairs; the repairs are completed as/when promised at fair prices. We have finally found someone who was able to diagnose and repair a nagging reoccurring “check engine” light issue on two of our autos – Thank you James. We have brought all five of our autos to Partners in Performance and have been completely happy with all work performed (Foreign and/or domestic (Ford, Chevy, BMW, VW and Land Rover)). Also, you can’t beat the location if you are a commuter.

I have taken my BMW SUV here 3 times they have always done a great job and the prices are half of what the BMW dealer was trying to charge me. James was very patient with me he explained everything in detail. Very happy will never go back to BMW repair.

By far the best auto service I have found in this area. Very inexpensive but very high quality service. Had a blown catalytic converter, and was able to get a new one installed with a 2 year warranty for hundreds of dollars cheaper than competing service centers. Will be returning and would recommend to anyone looking for a new auto service shop

No issues whatsoever. Dropped my car in the morning before they opened with the mail drop. I take the Naperville train into Chicago, so the drop off was particularly convenient for me. Got an email that afternoon with an estimate. After I confirmed what I wanted done, they fixed everything and had it ready for me when I got to the train station on the way home. It is really convenient because I did not have to change my daily schedule to get my car serviced. Everything was taken care of while I was at work. I will definitely consider using PIP in the future.

Usually friends, family or people you know are always looking for some kind of discount. I focus on how quickly I can get my car problems addressed. A safe working automobile is a hot commodity. I also need a mechanic that will level with me, like this needs to be done and that needs to be replaced but you've got some time. I don't need a discount, I need to maintain a budget as much as I can with an honest mechanic and get back behind the wheel as quickly as possible and PIP accomplished those things, not to mention, a price I couldn't argue with.

I have had 3 of my cars serviced here in the last year - two of them with problems that involved strange transmission noises and the other with bad braking noises. In any case they did a superb job each time in diagnosing and fixing the problems at a very reasonable cost. I would choose them over a dealer for convenience, cost and knowledge.

These guys are awesome! They took good care of my car. Ed is amazing. He will take the time to explain what needs to be done and ensure that you know what you're getting into.
