Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis-Edwardsville

Arielle was so fast and efficient. The rooms was perfectly made up and everything we needed after a stressful travel day!

My grandmother had to temporarily live at this Hampton Inn Suites for a few months while her house was being renovated. Everytime we would visit, the facility was clean, staff was very pleasant, and they were VERY accommodating to make her stay safe and comfortable. We visited multiple times a week and this was consistent. She is very thankful for all the people there that helped her directly or indirectly. I would recommend this place for short or longer term stay. Thank you Hampton Inn and Suites! We appreciate your team and all they have done.

Very pleased with how cool the room was. Most of the hotels I have stayed in in the last several years always seem to have an air conditioner that never gets cold enough. Not at this hotel! Santa, Claus likes his room chilly and I set the temperature on 66 and it in deed went to 66°.

Room was small but clean, comfy pillows and bedding. Staff was OUTSTANDING. Breakfast was good. My kids enjoyed the pool, and it was nice having a hot tub-you don't often see them at this price point. No complaints from me! We stayed 2 nights during a big snowstorm. We were very comfortable and staff went out of their way for us. Very happy.

I am only here to speak about the staff member Eric bone, this guy is one in a million. We showed up under some odd circumstances and he went above and beyond. I will be back here when in the area. I was extremely impressed and cannot speak highly enough about him and the impression he puts on this establishment.

My family has stayed here numerous times. Nice friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Big area to eat, we brought pizza in and plenty of room for us all.

Joseph at the front desk late at night was a big help. We needed to use the computer and printers to print out some documents we needed that night and he got the computer and printer rebooted so that we could print them off and submit them in time and was very friendly with myself, my fiance, and my 2 yr old daughter. Only complaint is they need better signage at the entrance road to get to the hotel. We drove by it twice before realizing the gravel road was what we were to turn on to get there. A big sign by the road would help tremendously.

Extremely clean! Front desk gentleman was awesome! Pet room was great! Cheaper than boarding and happy fur babies! Easy interstate access. Ample parking. Delicious breakfast!

Really pleased!!!
-clean rooms, clean beds. I know this is the bare minimum, but I definitely appreciated it.
-all the power outlets worked. No finagling to get all our devices plugged in.
-I like that the soap has little bubbles on the bottom so it doesn’t seal to the counter/dish.
-everything looks clean and well maintained. Looked like the paint was fresh, the carpet looked clean, no burned out light bulbs, no obvious signs of disrepair.
-breakfast was delicious. The serving area was clean and well stocked. The tables and seats were also clean.
-friendly staff overall. We even had a housekeeper who welcomed us to St Louis and wished us well. Feels good to be welcome in your “house”.

A+. This is a worthwhile place to stay!!!

Based on the photos on Google, I was skeptical. This place has had a lot of improvements and updates - the photos on Google do not do justice. The hotel was updated, clean, and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were regular sized (not those little square pillows that some hotels have). The pool was chilly but the hot tub was perfect! All staff we encountered were super friendly, but the lady who was preparing breakfast this morning was exceptional!
If we are back in this area again, this is where we will stay!
Don’t judge based on what you see on Google…those people either stayed before the updates or they just don’t have anything else to complain about.

Nice hotel in a safe convenient location just off the highway. This is Glen Carbon IL, which is a very nice place with high standards. My room was the older style but very clean and well kept. Room was very large, bathroom was spacious and everything worked as it should. The AC was rather noisy which I found to be similar to white noise and not bothersome. Hotel was quiet and the staff and neighbors were kind and courteous. This was the lowest priced hotel in St Louis area - but don’t dismiss it- because if you’re looking for (low priced) a safe clean stay in a quiet area this fits the bill and then some. Lots of places to eat within 10 minute drive.

If you want downtown or ultra modern then I’d suggest looking at another hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again. Thanks to the Hampton Inn staff and keep up the good work!

Great place to stay. Friendly, Great Food, nice and clean rooms that didn't smell like smoke. The staff is very friendly and professional.

Ŵhat a wonderful group of people. Mary at the front desk was polite and extremely helpful. Toni in housekeeping is an amazing generous person. We were very impressed with this hotel and the staff was just amazing. They even uprated us to a suite after finding out we were just married. The owner/general manager should be very proud of his staff and their business ethics. He defiantly could brag to corporate about his staff. Thank you for the hospitality.

Easy to find, right off the highway. Lovely view of a field and trees. The Inn was almost full but was very quiet. Average sized pool 3'-5' deep. Good breakfast with hot and cold options. Coffee and juice always available. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Good selection of pillows for the bed and comfortable bed.

Our stay at the Hampton was excellent due to all staff. From the housekeeper bringing us pool towels in the morning knowing we didn’t have any, to the front desk agent, Dave.

Dave went above and beyond with accommodating our requests, and making us feel comfortable here. We do not live far and just wanted a night out, now we know where to come next time. 2/27/2022

after reading reviews, i was unsure but location was exactly what i needed so i chanced it & happy i did. hotel was only a bit off the highway before st louis. EVERY staff member was super friendly! from check in greetings, to breakfast area, to housekeeping, & checkout staff. breakfast was hot & more decent than some other hampton inns. that television was huge too! always appreciate microwaves & fridges in my room for extra needs on roadtrips. would book again.

I love Hamptons, but this one ranks as the best one yet. My father's funeral was the reason for our brief visit so we were offered a bereavement discount without having to ask, which I was very touched by. And do NOT pass up the fresh, hot pastries if you see them. I'm not a big pastry eater, but those were just divine!!!

Pool Area DANGEROUS Not properly blocked off broken hot tub. Pool door sticking bad made it dangerous to pass. Waffle machine needs taken out. Good idea but Never works.
Would I go back there yes. Hoping by awareness the pool area is fixed and remains open. Thank you

This hotel is only a few years old, and housekeeping keeps it perfect. Staff was very nice with suggestions of tourist sites, and giving customers the choice of a room with a view of the city, though distant and near-impossible to see in the rain. Overall one of the best Hampton Inns I've stayed in.
