Pioneer Motel

The owners of pioneer motel are super nice! They made it a point to stop and talk to us made sure everything was okay I give the rooms of four star rating only because the ones that we stayed in are little dated. However, they were super clean! Didn't have an issue with anything in relation to the hotel. They did have a guest below us who love to wake and bake and it would waft into our rooms every morning and every night when we were there! We went to LJ's and it was pretty good too! When visiting lavallette again we will probably stay in Wayne rather than go all the way to Huntington.

I didn't stay at the motel but had lunch at the restaurant connected to it. The food was delicious! It was really laid back, seat yourself kinda place, with a smoking and non smoking section.

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about this hotel its just that a hotel. If you're expecting White glove service well you're not going to get it go some where that costs 10× this place. If you're looking for a nice clean hotel room that has a refrigerator microwave and coffee pot at a super decent price then stay here. I have been staying at this hotel at least once a year for years. Wether it's a funeral, family reunion, or just to visit family it's always been clean , bug free, and decent prices and the people that run it have always been pleasant so 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ in my book

Spent a Saturday night with my fiancee who had traveled from Indiana. The room was clean, quiet, and thankfully very warm. The shower was quite adequate, check in was simple and easy. Look forward to another stay soon.

Small rooms but they were clean, beds were ok. AC worked like a champion. Restaurant next door was awesome. Rates were cheap. Basic place to stay.

Great Motel located right on 52 not far from Walmart and your about half way between Beech Fork State Park and East Lynn Lake. The Motel has a Restaurant right next door that serves up all kinds of good food and they serve beer as well. Very pleasant place to be.

My son came to visit and had a pleasant stay thanks to the staffs hospitality. He left something of his that had great sentimental value, the staff contacted him before he realized he had left behind his property and helped him arrange to ship it back to him!

We stay at the pioneer any time we are in town. It is a great small town motel. The WiFi and cable work good. The food at LJ lounge is awesome and the people working there could not be more nice. 😊.

One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed for a independent motel...actually it's one of the cleanest rooms I've stayed in period, motel wise...the only complaint I have is the beds are extremely hard

Great room for a great price, if you want coffee in your room make sure to remember filters.

Very nice and clean rooms. Close to stores and restaurants. Over all great place. Also very private and quiet.
