Jimmy's Barbecue

My son and I come to Abbeville one a year for a three day hunt with a local family. They introduced us to Jimmy's early on and we make it a point to eat there at least once a trip, usually more like twice.

We both absolutely love the wedge sandwiches and the fries. That is our go to meal. I've also had the Brunswick Stew, which also very good. We'd like to try other items, but this is the only place we know to get a wedge, so that's always number one on the menu for us.

We dined in during our road trip. This was an amazing find! Kind, professional people who made our dining experience fun and enjoyable. The food was phenomenal! Resturant was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be adding this to my list of favorites!!

Got two BBQ sandwiches. They were big and good. Service was quick. We always prefer local restaurants, and this one is great if you are in Abbeville.

We love Jimmy's! Their Our Favorite Pizza is our favorite! 😁 They also have great wedges, chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, and the best sweet tea!

We just wanted some BBQ and found this little place. It was perfect. The people are so sweet, food was great!! Little did we know what a find this was as we love small town American. This restaurant is in the home town of Jimmy Rane owner of yellawood. Who has rejuvenated this little town to a step back in the 50s. We will definitely be visiting again.

Great food and great prices! The pizza and the service was amazing! It was my boyfriend’s first time visiting and he’s still talking about it and when we’ll visit again. Jimmy’s is still one of Abbeville’s gems!

2) We are grateful and thankful to ALL of our Customers for many reasons, one of which is that they know that we care about them...we consider them a part of our Jimmy’s family, so they know better than to believe such ridiculous reviews as the one below...which I am in the process of finding who (been in contact with Google and will follow up with them again tomorrow...promise I’m not a quitter, so I’ll stay at it until I get some results:)) would make such atrocious, dishonest, childish, and tacky comments!

Can't say enough about this place. The pizza is outstanding, the BBQ is so flavorful and the smiling faces are always there to greet you. I love the down home feel when you wallk in.

10 years and it's still one of my favorite places in Abbeville. I remember when I use to go just to see Krista Green and even now shes not there and I still find myself coming back time to time. Definitely a place full of memories!! Thanks yal

Super friendly little local place. Good BBQ. Fast service. Worth the mile drive off highway to eat here rather than fast food!
