Whipped Bakery & Cafe

This is a cozy, local bakery and café that I stumbled upon by chance, and I immediately fell in love with it. Their cupcakes and pastries are freshly made in-house, and they also offer a selection of coffee and café beverages to compliment their sweet treats. I’ve had their cappuccino and I have also been experimenting a new cupcake every time I visit - they’ve all been excellent so far! Their vibes and decor are lovely and it makes the ambiance very comfortable.

We came here on a recommendation by our friends during our stay in Austin. We were staying nearby mid-Austin so this place being about 50 minutes out and being recommended definitely was a sign that this place was good.

The building is connected to others in a plaza. The signage outside is cute. The inside is cute and cozy with couches, chairs, tables, and a prominent pink cherry tree blossom overhanding the lobby. There is free WiFi.

We ordered the fatcrons (macrons that are fat because of being filled with so much cream), an iced americano, and an egg tart.

The fatcrons were AMAZING. Probably the best macron I've ever had in my life and not just because it's fat, the quality and taste is some of the best i've ever had. The cream inside tastes like icecream--not too sweet, smooth, best cold.

I am a taro/ube lover so I got 2 ube flavors but the blue cookies and cream flavor turned out to be my favorite. The ube/taro tasted as such, plus the deliciousness that comes with every fatcron. The pistachio was delicious. The biscoff was delicious. The chocolate was veryy rich. The orange dreamsicle tasted like a dreamsicle, you couldn't miss it. The lemon was delicous, it's a sweet lemon. I didn't get the Americano but i was told that it was really good. The egg tart is huge and really good quality as well.

I highly recommend. I would have stopped by here on my way out of Austin but they are closed on Sundays.

This is definitely a starred place on my Austin food list. Highly recommend!

Whipped Bakery & Cafe is adorable! It has a clean and cozy atmosphere with touch of Paris 🩷 This can be good for a 2-3 person meeting or even a coffee date! I bought the Carrot Cupake, the cupcake muffin was moist and finish with a light, airy, whipped frosting! So yummy!

I love this place so much. Their Cocada Latte is my go-to drink every time I got there. I work for a hotel and I am always recommending this place to all the guests. You definitely need to go there.

Absolutely delicious bakery items. I had the Strawberry Jam Scone and one of their specialty lattes, Honey Lavender. So delicious! Decided to try something new and different. They didn't disappoint. They have more options than cupcakes, cakes, and macaroons.

This is the cutest cafe I’ve ever been to—and I’ve been to a lot!! Their macarons are to die for and their confections are delicate and delicious. Highly highly recommend!

Great cake, don’t mind the photo I smushed the cake a bit. I don’t really like cake in general but this one was fantastic, lots of flavor and not just a blast of sweet and sugar like most cakes.

We also forgot to pick up our cake and they came in on Christmas Eve when they were closed to let us pick it up. Great customer service! Will order again.

I LOVE this place! Beautiful atmosphere and the treats are delicious! They’re light and not overly sweet, and always perfectly baked.

I cannot get enough of the raspberry pistachio cupcake and the cookie choux!!

Only note: quite pricey but for the quality, it’s worth it.

It's pumpkin spice season at Whipped too! Look at this little cupcake beauty. Perfect for the season. Lovely treat and gorgeous for special occasions like this bridal shower desert table. I'm in love with their cupcakes, canelas, and fatcaron deserts!

Popped in after dinner to pick up a Carrot Cake cupcake and a cookie to enjoy at Red Horn Coffee House and Brewing Company over a Coffee Beer and Latte. Silky and smooth...delicate and sumptuous. Definitely gives Nothing Bundt Cakes a run for their money. Doesn't hurt that Whipped was close and open when the other guys weren't. Will come back!

If I could give this place 10000 stars I would! We go to this bakery for their delicious cupcakes, but we had a last minute hiccup with the cake we ordered for our baby shower from another bakery and Whipped Bakery saved our little event. We reached out to so many local bakeries some were booked out or unresponsive but Whipped bakery came to save the day and helped us getting the cake done in time for our baby shower! The cake itself was absolutely delicious and the design was so cute! Exactly what we were asking for! We really appreciate all of their amazing work and we can say this will be our bakery of choice for any future custom cake needs! Thank you all so much!!

Wonderful little bakery with “to die for” cupcakes and macarons! Pricey but worth it for a special treat!

I absolutely love this cafe! I went there on a monday with my sister, and the girls at the front were soo sweet. We got macarons, a raspberry pistachio cupcake, and the deluxe cookie. I love macarons, and the creme brulee one was amazing. We also got the honey lavender latte and the vanilla shaken latte, and they were also very good. Highly recommend this spot!

Everyone working at this place is friendly and accommodating. They’ll suggest you drink and pastries based on your liking. They take birthday cake orders as well.

They are very generous with the cream on the cupcakes. Almost half of the cupcakes were cream. We tried the triple chocolate cupcake and it was really good. Not too sweet too. Personally, the macarons were less sweet than the cupcakes and I think they use buttercream but it's really high quality. Every item was worth trying. Pls try the creme brulee macaron and the pistachio latte. It's so good 👍

The cupcakes are so light and fluffy, my mom surprised me the other day after school by buying some and we together each had a 3rd of the 4 she bought!!! Soooo good, came back today with as a family after dinner and loved the assortment!

I'm not a coffee person, but they have plenty of options for me too! Their teas have a way of warming the soul (or cooling it, depending on your choice) and making you feel at home. The balance of flavors, the aroma, and the perfect temperature always seem to hit the mark.

Conversations flow easily, and it's not uncommon to see strangers bonding over their favorite cupcakes, coffees or tea blends. This place is amazing! From interior decor to freshly baked cupcakes . We tried triple chocolate cupcake and cheese cake tart. Magnificent choirs of custom made cakes . They thought of everything from candles, freshly brewed tea or coffee. Will definitely be coming here in the future.

Got a big custom tres leches cake for my wife’s birthday during a short trip to Austin and it was so delicious that I couldn’t stop myself from visiting this place again for trying out some more items. The setup is so cool and beautiful. Great service too. We got a small tiramisu cake which was so light and amazing, just like the tresleches. Also tried their cupcakes and they’re pretty good! Will visit this place again during my next trip.

Lovely spite nicely decorated, well equipped and aimed for quality coffee products. Do not miss the latte and cappuccino!
