Gourmet Waffle Shop & Cafe

Great service and delicious food. When in the Gourmet Waffle House you try the waffles. Warm butter and warm syrup was a wonderful addition. We will definitely come back.

Food was fresh hot and fast. Service was OK not particularly friendly but not surly either. Warm syrup for your waffles along with clarified butter in big squeeze bottles! Place is clean but a bit dated. Local establishment that deserves your patronage.

Went for Lunch, had a table of 6 and the service was fast, friendly and attentive. We had waffles and chicken, Pork Chops, A Burger, A Omelet and the Daily Special. Everything came out really good and priced really good, especially since every major chain has raised prices to the moon.
Daily Special was 5.99 it was beef stew with cornbread.

A down home place to eat. Great food and friendly service. I could eat there every day!!

Awesome crew, they were so nice and our waitress Emma was perfect. Sweet young beautiful girl. I'll ask for her personally next time I go back to Denison Texas. Thank you Emma and your crew. Kudos... Southern hospitality at it's best.

We've eaten breakfast there a few times. Always enjoy it. The owner is always there and takes a minute to talk with his guests. Service is always good. But, the five stars is for the burgers. The best I've had in a really long time along with their homemade fries. Hands down, five stars. Highly recommended!

Been knowing the owners for a long time. Excellent food. They know what is good. Great waffles and pancakes, as well as awesome biscuits and gravey. Great breakfasts all around. Only place I know that has hotlinks on the menu. Other foods are homemade type and extremely good. Rather small dining area and small parking but worth the effort. Nothing fancy. Old style diner. Route 66 and Elvis memorabilia on the walls. Love this place. Great place for breakfast and lunch. I don't know if they are open for supper. Highly recommended.

Loved the waffles. The bacon was actually crispy, just the way I like it. I love the small town feel, and everyone was very nice

I like this place ,reminds me of being a kid again and the owner is nice and very friendly and hands on with his restaurant. The staff is good too and the food is always great

This place is absolutely amazing. I had the country fried Chicken breakfast and biscuits and gravy. Absolutely!!!... amazing!!! They are only open 6am to 2pm. All week. But make the trip if you can. It's reasonably priced and very kid/family friend.

We had a very nice waitress, she was very attentive. We had a table of 5 and everyone was very pleased with our breakfast choices. We will return and feel great about supporting a locally owned restaurant.

This is the small town breakfast stop you didn't know you needed. Service is excellent and kind. Food portions are well sized, and it's doesn't cost a 2nd mortgage to eat here. It's a small place, and it's not fancy, but that's not what I want for breakfast anyway, personally. I loved it, I will be coming back again, and I highly recommend.

We have been here several times and it is always delicious! Service is always great, quick, and friendly. Definitely worth any extra time to drive here instead of somewhere else. Highly recommend!

The food is not the only wonderful thing! The service has been spectacular! It’s become one of our frequent visits! The owners are so sweet. My husband took the kids to eat and left his debit card at the register. They brought it all the way to the RV park we were staying in to return it. We definitely recommend!!!

Cute place. They have a large selection on the menu. We were able to order breakfast and lunch which we enjoyed. The food got to the table hot and fast. The prices were very reasonable. We plan on stopping again soon!

Excellent breakfast home cook style. Great staff, friendly and makes sure you have what you need and want. Haven't been there for lunch yet, too full from breakfast, but the specials sound awesome and a good price.

Had one of the better patty melts I've eaten here. I have had there old there old family Texas out border style country to the bone breakfast. That...is great but this lunch was new to me. Didn't know they did lunch as well

A delightful small town diner. Upon entering we were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming. Our waitress was the sweetest.

Excellent service and food. Waffles are the best anywhere, sausage is perfectly cooked. Can't recommend this place enough.
