Asian Shui

Amazing food can't get sushi any fresher then here and the hibachi oh my gosh so good.

Most amazing Hibachi and Sushi. I love that Denison finally has something like this. Great job guys thank you. Ask them about the Trio and the Philly Egg you won't be disappointed. My wife had the Sushi sampler and she couldn't stop talking about the variety she got.

They never disappoint. The Shaggy Dog roll is one for the books. Tonight I ventured out to the handcrafted philly egg rolls and whew they blew me away. I can’t wait to return to this dining establishment. They shared a little secret tonight... key lime dumplings next week... what!!!!

Asian Shui is amazing!!! The hibachi and sushi is so fulfilling i can't even save room for dessert!! Its definitely a must to come try!

This place is fantastic!! I had the tofu hibachi and was so yummy. Stopped in driving through Denison and was pleasantly surprised.

The spicy tofu is absolutely amazing and so are the veggies! The servings are huge too!

What a wonderful meal. We had hibachi chicken and appetizers. Everything was wonderful and the service was excellent.

I was on a road trip passing through Denison, TX. My sushi craving brought me over to Asian Shui as it was the closest spot on google maps.

Parking: Didn't see a parking lot but free street parking on Main St. was easy to find in the afternoon, on a weekday.

Ambiance: This is not a full service restaurant. It's cool though because it's located within a restaurant incubator (The Railyard). This concept is similar to a food truck park but at an indoor space with climate control. There are a few other eateries + a beer garden. Took a stroll and a glance at the other eateries and everyone was so welcoming and pleasant.

Service: In contrast to the good vibes of the other restauranteurs, the guy that took my order at Asian Shui was a bit cold. He was the only kiosk I gave my money to (my sushi craving persisted), yet I felt like a bother. Maybe it was just a bad day. We all have them and it may have been a one-off situation.

Food: Limited menu. Too many rolls with cream cheese :/
The shrimp hibachi was yummy and generously portioned.
The sushi was just ok. It was a very basic salmon roll. They were not generous with the salmon compared to what I'm used to in the same price range for this type of roll.

Note: I wore a mask but 90% of the workers/patrons did not. I didn't mind their choice not to wear one and they didn't give me dirty looks for masking up (it happens). All good!

The sushi was absolutely garbage. I usually love sushi but it was so dry here. They put bare minimum meat inside the rolls. The presentation was nice, and I also can't say anything about the hibachi as I haven't had it. All I can say is I'm here to eat my food, not just look at it. They need to improve their sushi.

So disappointing. I got the Shaggy dog. The wasabi wasn't even real, my nose isn't runny or anything. I didn't finish my food cuz it sucked. Tiny portions...
