Watson's Drive In

The first time I visited Denison, I experienced this hamburger joint per the advice of a store clerk on Main Street. I ordered the Porky's burger w/ Cheese and it was fantastic. The bacon was cooked to perfection. My only recommendation is to either order a double or triple patty burger due to the patties being on the thin side. The veggies were fresh, the patty was good and the tots were cooked correctly. Will come back and try a triple with a pineapple shake.

First time stopping by here. What a gem! Like a dq but waaaay better! Tastes more awesome, fries were like fresh chopped potatoes and onion rings had the perfect amount of batter to make them thin and crispy. Outstanding job guys! Service was friendly and fast. Food was delivered perfectly fresh off the grill. Fries were hot drink was cold. It was everything your money used to buy before the pandemic, lol!!!
To the owners: waaay above par, the way the establishment is run is excellent and a customer can really feel that even just by the taste of the food! Thank you, we will definitely show our love by returning.

Just had lunch here and was not disappointed. The food tastes very fresh and was worth the small wait. I didn’t get ketchup but after tasting the food I didn’t care because the flavor is so good that it honestly didn’t really need it. Highly recommend coming here

First time coming here - my goodness, this place is a hidden gem! We came from Dallas for a drive and the food here is better than any drive in food all over Dallas and suburbs.

They're clean, friendly and everything was delicious! Best chocolate malt I've had too!

My parents have been coming here since the '60s. They have been bringing my brother and I since the '70s. Now I have been bringing my child here since the '00s. The food is still great. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I had a steak sandwich,onion rings and tea this time. It hit the spot.

I was visiting Denison to preform a site job and found this little gem that appears to have been around for some time. I asked a few people at the site job I was working at “Where is the Best Place To Eat in Town?” The answer from everyone was, “WatsonBurger!” That is how I ended up here.
I must say, they did not disappoint. I ordered five hamburgers for the crew. Special order cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings and tots.
All the food was prepared exactly to order, in a timely manner. The burgers were fresh, meat warm and the veggies crisp. The sides were cooked perfectly without being greasy.
I would definitely recommend WatsonBurger to anyone wanting a good hometown burger in Denison, Texas.

Come for the burgers, stay for the onion rings!

Best hand-made to order onion rings I've ever had & I am 66 years old. I eat here often & my standard order is a cheeseburger & rings. Their burgers are BETTER than Whataburger! They don't load them down with veggies. You can really taste the meat with perfect combination of flavor of thin sliced tomato, lettuce & of course pickles, mustard & chopped onions. You MUST try it to enjoy the difference! Awesome service NEVER had a problem in OVER 38 years! No mistakes on anything I've ever ordered! You should also consider tipping the carhops they do a WONDERFUL job! I would give Watson's 100 stars if I could! This place is legendary since 1952 before I was born...

I’ve been here many times through the years. I really haven’t thought too much about it because this place never disappoints. Ole time burgers and fries. Best ever. You just can’t find a burger like Watsons.

I honestly cannot believe I have not reviewed Watson's drive-in! They are so incredible It's like going back in time to the '60s and '70s I wasn't even born back then but it's amazing you cannot beat their burgers playing and simple they're other food is just as good as well It's a old-fashioned drive-in experience just like you remember!! Best burger shop in Denison no question!!!

Old school Awesome burger and onion rings. Visiting from out of town...wishin we had a Watsons Drive in closer to Wylie.

Me,my husband and neighbors come at least once a week. They have the best burgers I have ever had. The staff is outstanding,always ready to greet and serve you. I love this place.
