What an incredible experience! I visited this gem with four friends, and we were all blown away. I can't wait to come back soon just to show this place off to more folks!

The food was nothing short of amazing, with generous portions that left us more than satisfied. And the drinks? Absolutely fantastic! Every sip and bite was delightful. Highly recommend!

Oh boy what a find. Beautiful outdoor presentation trees flower, home decor just laid back comfort. We ordered the chicken fried steak side of Mac and cheese, green beans and a roll 2 cold beers. Wow fried steaks cover in gravy. TVs had sports channels going people in and out great service fast. Great food nice dinning area full of old memorabilia what a superb atmosphere tons of items on menu to order serve your self drinks from coolers what an awesome restaurant🍺

I had such an incredible time at this place for Sunday brunch with my wonderful husband and adorable kid! Let me tell you, the food was absolutely mouthwatering, and the prices were super reasonable. The atmosphere was just delightful, and guess what? They even had a playground for the little ones to have a blast!

I can't wait to bring my parents here soon.

Food was great and quick. Finding a table can be a little difficult during peak times. You order at the counter and get the food yourself to bring to the table. We got the BBQ ribs and Nashville chicken sandwich from the Sunday specials and shrimp tacos and chicken fried steak.

Hidden gem in Sugar Land. Reasonable priced with generous portion. Steak and shrimp is tasty. Thursday special ground beef empanadas is even better! Will come back again for sure.

Wow what a gem. Roque and the crew make you feel like you're at home with service and the incredibly delicious menu to choose from. There is obviously a reason why for 23 years the community has come to this fine establishment. To think it started as an old farmhouse and now is a staple in the community.

Stopped by here Wednesday this week and had the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and mac n cheese. Food was really good and was quiet filling. Stopped by again today Friday and had the seafood platter blackened with the mashed potatoes and mac n cheese and was really good as well. This is one of my new favorites now when working in the area. This place does get busy during lunch time so please be patient it is worth the wait.

This is one of my favorite places! You can’t go wrong for brunch, lunch, dinner. Their food is very tasty. Their staff is nice and they always accommodate food allergies. Me and my family always enjoy coming here. It’s so cute and quaint their decor is unique so nice for pictures. Such a great place.

A must try! My favorite part was that it was kid friendly and service was great! I had the chicken fried steak and it tasted delicious paired onion rings and corn! Would definitely go back and get the exact same thing! Also portion is huge!

Our family went here Saturday. There were 15 of us total, and this team at Live Oak handled everything with not one single hiccup! Great place to eat, visit and play with the kiddos. I can't limit my choice of what was good to eat because there wasn't anything that was not delicious. Thank you for the best experience.

Great local restaurant. It’s a little out-of-the-way. However, there’s a huge menu. We went for brunch, and everyone was able to find some thing that they wanted. This is southern comfort food. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was fried perfectly. They have a great play place and patio for the kids. The food came out quickly. Would absolutely go back. Great casual dining.

This place has that warm small town BBQ charm. The moment you pull up you are greeted with a nice rustic look and amazing smells of comfort food cooking! The chicken fried steaks are big normally but if you get the large make sure to expect a large oval plate sized steak! The food is amazing and I can't wait to go back to try more off the menu!

The food is always good. We have had different meals every time we have gone. This visit we had shrimp brochette and Acapulco chicken sandwich. Both were very good. Service is fast even at the busiest times of day. The atmosphere is quite loud, very kid friendly. Prices are reasonable.

Went on two occasions before leaving a review. Last weekend the breakfast was delicious, bacon was good, eggs were real, biscuit was on point. We also got the chicken and waffles, interestingly they put bacon in the waffle batter, that was really good. Today we went again and my wife really liked her breakfast. I got the ribeye steak sandwich, the sandwich was amazing. Highly recommend this place, the portions are big the food has been fresh and tasty. Definitely better than big chain restaurants.

Live oak wasn’t introduced to me until I worked only 5 mins away from it 10 years ago. I was so surprised that such a neat spot was under my nose the entire time! The food is great and I never had a complaint during the time I was near them when I was at that job.

Fast forward to now… I’m here waiting for a to go order and I still have the same happy vibes I got during lunch hr seeing all the employees who like me enjoyed this place.

Price wise it’s gone up but that’s to be expected as things are now. For it’s worth the prices are still a great value.

Today I ordered the old fashion burger and got it medium well. It came out and was delicious ! I ate it so quickly I contemplated a second order (good thing my lunch break is short.)

I can’t wait for my next opportunity to swing by here.

The restaurant has a rustic look and is very much a Texan home vibe or ranch vibe. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I can during peak lunch hrs and it gets busy !

Went there because my father loved going there. We went after his funeral to get together and enjoy one of his favorite places. Great food and service. Was glad to kind of experience something my dad loved and be with family and friends to remember him. Thank you

Simple and casual but the portions are gigantic and good quality!! Everybody very nice! Great chicken, steak, and salads! Onions rings are humongous!

Best chicken fried steak I have ever had. The taste was amazing. The green beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy complimented the chicken fried steak perfectly. Might be the best chicken fried steak in the whole country. Amazing.
