Alamo City Church

Alamo City Church is my church family. It is a wonderful place to worship and ask for help. They are a very special community and truly care for others. The pastor is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. If you can’t make it to the church you can connect with them on YouTube and join them on live streaming of the Sunday and Wednesday services. You can even post a message or prayer request online and connect with the prayer team that monitors the online services. I have learned so much from this church family and they are all so supportive and welcoming. During the worship time and teaching time you can feel the presence of God.

I've tried many churches before I came to this one. The people are welcoming and make me feel like I can be myself. The music is wonderful and Pastor Walker is amazing. I was looking for a Pastor who was grounded, can get their message across each and every sermon, who believes what they are saying, and fills my heart with Christian love. I found my place here. My church! My home!

My first time I went there but was sure I tried other churches but I t seens like I was dwan back I was looking for a church not so big this the people are very nice

Pastor Walker & Shirley are the most God loving & Gods Word teaching couple I know. If you are searching for a church to call home, this is it! If you want to know the truth about Gods Word & His great love for you this is the place. But, if you’re looking for a church that will sugar coat Gods word, this isn’t the church for you! Whichever the reason, it is our prayer that you have asked the Lord to come into your heart to live & allow His love & knowledge of what He has done for you to sink 18 inches deep into your heart! An excellent church that practices what they preach and carries out the commands of Jesus to serve others and to be the hands and the feet of God. David Walker is an amazing pastor. He was my pastor years and years ago in Amarillo TX and what made him special then continues to make him special today - he has a heart for souls and he labors and prays over how to best present God's plan of salvation to all men. My wife and I visited the church a few months ago when we went to Austin TX for a conference - we drove over one Sunday morning and did not regret it. Pastor Walker made time for us after the service and kindly spoke with us and asked about our lives and children then asked to pray over us and our children who he's not ever met. It was a special time and a time that meant something to us both and a time that I still recall hearing the genuineness and closeness of God through his words and actions. This church reflects and magnifies the light and way of Christ. I look forward to the next time I am able to visit - until then, keep preaching Christ and his love. Keep serving - you make a positive difference - good and faithful servants!

We instantly felt welcome here by everyone. This is definitely a church where all are welcome. Pastor Walker gives helpful sermons and the worship team is amazing. Great childcare from nursery through High School programs.

Great BB tournament, we won both days!

Friendly and inviting people. Sunday service is awesome. 2 start times. One at 930 am and then 1130 am. Classes during worship for kids. Wednesday classes are at 630 to about 8am. Check website for info. On Wednesday service.

Huge church with a huge heart for the lost! Holy Spirit Filled Pastor & Church! If you need a place to call home, this is it!

I treasure the men's Bible study. The music program is beautiful. Message is meaningful ,relevant and relatable. There's a variety of programs and events; like the upcoming chili cook off!

Fun and now new building and the prayer team is a great blessing 🙏

The gyms are very spacious and the lighting is good. The gym is clean and the is plenty of space to sit to watch games in the double gym.

Such kind and welcoming people of God. I have my church home elsewhere but I love to visit there and still "feel" at home in the congregation.
