Iron Skillet

Every time we come here it’s 👍🏽 The breakfast was good especially since country breakfasts in the area are hard to come by. We loved the extra touch of the breakfast in skillets. The servers are super friendly and attentive.

The food was very good & nicely seasoned. The chicken was delicious & not dry. I will definitely be going back

Great little truck stop restaurant. The service was great and the meat lovers omelet I ordered was excellent. Very friendly staff.

Stop in for food and my dog loved the barking lot. Nice friendly staff at iron skillet good food. I miss the buffets they use to have at the iron skillet .☹

We had the best experience here. Our server was attentive and cracking jokes. Seemed to genuinely like his job. The food was also very good. I had a salad that was fresh and chilled, followed by some outstanding grilled pork chops. I'm so glad we went here - usually truck stop food is awful, but this place was really great.

I had the breakfast skillet, two eggs sausage hash browns biscuit. Everything was the way I like it. I also got the steak and gravy and grilled onions with two sides to go. It was excellent. The steak was really tender. But most of all I would like to commend Brandon, our server. He was the only server. No one else showed up! And he was pleasant and efficient. Thank you Brandon.

Had a petite cut steak, with baked potato, and it was excellent. Very clean and well decorated. The service staff is friendly and attentive, they make you feel welcome, and when home is over 1200 miles away that's important. Steak was cooked perfectly, thanks to a well trained cook. Looking forward to my next meal there...might do the Buffet because it was very well stocked with foods I enjoy.

Desi waited on us and she was so sweet and personable and took time to listen to what we wanted and had a super nice conversation. The food was so good we told her to give the cook a hug from us. Thank you Desi.

The food was as delicious as it was 30+ yrs ago. Maybe because it's the same GREAT COOK from day 1!!! And my waitress Ms.Linda was the sweetest and Best waitress ive had in a while! FOOD WAS EXCELLENT ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😋😋😋 Thank You "IRON SKILLET!" 💯

Great staff and food, nice place to relax after a long day of driving, sad that it's gonna be replaced with a Chain restaurant called Black bear diner.

First time here and the service was awesome! They were quick to take my order. My food was brought to me in a timely fashion. Not to mention the flavor. I will definetly be hitting this place up bext time I'm in San Antonio.

The food was good and the waitress friendly. The wait times for everything were slow though. I had to flag my waitress down to get the bill after waiting quite a while.

The waitresses are super nice and the place is always clean and ready to go... the food is great... recommend the biscuits and sausage gravy, it's delicious

The service and the food are always good here. My husband and I look forward to going, and he likes to park his rig at that Petro as well.

$9.49 breakfast buffet plus coffee on Tuesday came to over $12 plus tip. Decent food and lots of bacon and sausage out. They have an omelette bar, though I didn't get one. Scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, potatoes, and a fajita section (didn't try). Pleasant folks to deal with. I'd eat there again. (Guy next to me had problems with his order and they recooked it without question.)

Great food great service staff was very friendly. Much needed at the end of the day. This location is a all time favorite to stop. Been stopping in to shower and a hot meal for over 20 years. Look forward to the next time!

Be a trucker for a meal. I love the hot cakes and Dad likes the sausage gravy over biscuits Good eats and service. The buffet is over but lots of good meals throughout the day.

No mask hassel.+. Great food. Attentive, friendly waitress. The older lady was awesome at her job.
This restaurant needs cheesecake though.
Would definitely recommend and definitely return
