Ms. Janice Matthews and Ms. Gooden were so understanding when I requested my son’s headstone to be elevated before his death anniversary June 27, 2021. I went to the cemetery this morning June 26, 2021 and I was cleaning my son’s headstone when Ms. Gooden arrived. She and three of the cemetery workers worked so hard to get my son’s headstone elevated. They cleaned the headstone and arranged my son’s flowers. This meant the world to me and my heart is so happy. I am so grateful to Ms. Gooden, and the three workers. They were very caring and professional!! Thanks, Lottie Edwards

Doris Miller is under NEW OWNERSHIP and the new owners are really taking steps to making this place something all families can be proud of!!!! Not only that but the new owners truly love the people of Waco and want to make them proud! I strongly encourage everyone before making that tuff decision on where to take your love one chose a place that the people truly care and that are accessible to you! So excited that someone is taking pride in this place!!!!!!

I have many family members laid to rest here. The new owners are great and the new improvements are beautiful.

My brother head stone have been missing for several years now. The new owner told me he would look into it and get back with me in a few weeks. It's been a year and I haven't heard from him. Everytime I call noone is there to answer. My sister has been deceased for a year and haven't received her headstone yet. So sad! They ought to be ashamed.

My son who died as an infant is buried at Doris Miller but if I had the money to move his remains I would. The headstone has been run over repeatedly by a mower and oil has literally destroyed the writing on the stone. What is worse is that the manager promised to replace the stone years ago when I brought it to her attention but nothing was ever done. In fact it is worse. Now the grave is overgrown and there is trash everywhere. The owners could care less about the upkeep of this cemetery or our loved ones buried there. They should be truly ashamed but somehow I doubt that they care at all. They deserve zero stars.

When my great-grandfather and I buried my great-grandmother back in August we thought everything was taken care of. My husband and I go visit my great-grandmother's grave site every chance we get and every time we go there the date of her death was never etched on the tombstone. My great-grandfather has been getting the run around for 5 months we demand answers!!!!

The owner Janice Matthews is very unprofessional, unsympathetic, rude! I had a problem with my Mama's bench and when I went to her she gave me the runaround for almost a year before something was done about it! She had me going back and forth between her and Phipps Headstone company. Come to find out they said she didn't want to let them come in to do it and wouldn't return their calls! After being persistent and kept showing up at her front door every week for almost that year she finally said they could come and do it! I guess she needed time to get the perpetual money together that everyone has paid her over the years to pay them to do it! After Phipps finished with it they said that it was the last time that they would do it because it's up to her, and I'm sure they are tired of dealing with her!

The woman with the long hair and cane is very condescending. The way that she talks to people could use improvement. If you choose to use this graveyard you may want to take this into consideration especially when you're in a fragile state after a loss

The grounds need mowing and weeding. Sidewalks are cracked. No public restrooms. If your not careful you will run over a grave close to office. Workers are working on cars and not the grounds. This place needs lots of improvements.
