Stony Glen Stables

This is a great place for your kids to learn how to ride horses and to get into this amazing sport. My daughter started out 9 months ago and since then she learnt a lot and developed a great passion for the sport and had great affection for the different horses in the stable. She also had an amazing Coach " Coach Heather" who took her one step at a time and built in her the skills as well as teqching her a lot about horses and how to take care of them. I am so satisfied and happy to be able to find this place for my daughter to learn and grow in this sport.

My young kid has been with Stony Glen for about an year. Great trainers, staff and facilities (especially after moving to Celina). They ensure year around activities/shows and it is a happening place. Ms. Wendy is wonderful and is awesome in training the beginners, we couldn't be happier!

We love Stony Glen Stables. My daughter started riding there in March and has learned so much already. She rode Western for 2.5 years and decided that she wanted to try English. She loves it! The staff is amazing. We ride 2 times a week and love Miss Heather and Miss Julie.

Our daughter has been riding at Stony Glen Stables since we moved here from out of state over 2 years ago. The kids and parents are fantastic-we felt at home right away! All the trainers are awesome-our daughter has learned so much from them! When we were in the process of finding a horse to lease, there were always lesson ponies to ride in the interim! Love this barn!!!

I have been riding everywhere in the DFW area for more than 15 years. This is maybe not the fanciest barn in the area but for sure the most down to earth. The people here, from trainers to riders, are absolutely nice, the school horses are very good and the trainers are really good. Trainers are very knowledgeable with expertise in dressage, hunters and jumpers. half of the riders here they have their own horse and the level of riding is really good. Definitely the best experience riding in the DFW area. just stop by we will welcome you through the ride at Stoney Glen Stables !

Fantastic stable, REALLY knowledgeable trainers, and sound lesson horses. I quit riding for 8 years and was a beginner hunter/jumper before I came here, and am still a beginner hunter/jumper, ( it takes a lot of riding to move up)..HOWEVER, the amount that I learned in the short 4.5 month period of riding here was fantastic. In addition, I did only take one lesson per week(so if you take more than one lesson a week you obviously absorb more info and ride more, and become a better rider) . This is a great stable to take lessons at, board your horse at, etc. I would still be here taking lessons, but my work schedule changed drastically (If my work schedule changes to where I can take lessons here again, I would be back). This is the best hunt/jump lesson barn I have came in contact with.

My oldest has ridden here for several years at Stony Glen and has learned so much from the trainers. The atmosphere is friendly and team ordinated. Now my youngest is in this years summer camp and is having a great time!

I called asking for a manager and the lady immediately became rude. I was asking if there were any available positions and she completely blew me off and hung up. I was only looking to extend my dreams with these animals and was treated very rudely.
