Joe's Crab Shack

We went here for Thanksgiving Dinner. Everyplace else was booked, but Joe’s offered turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, etc. The price was reasonable. The food was actually good, as was the service. I’d eat here again, maybe seafood next time!

If you’ve come for the crab then you’ve come to the right place at Broadway at the beach!

We got a captains platter that included some crab legs and we got the Ragin’ Cajun spice on it and that was super tasty as well as just the right spice level.

The Great Balls of fire were also a great appetizer, spicy and cool at the same time because they are made with jalapeños and cream cheese.

We also got a shrimp dip appetizer that was very good with chips.

Finally we had a shrimp platter with four different types of shrimp on it.

Everything was tasty and the gently fried fish filets were spot on too.

The team was great and our waiter was the bomb. Kind, knowledgeable, patient and overall doing an awesome job!

Highly recommend this restaurant especially if your going at a time that’s not too busy. This is the second time I’ve been to Broadway during a time of the year that was not absolutely stuffed with people so it was a nice time.

Loved the atmosphere is the place. Really family friendly! Our server Jesse was super attentive and very down to earth. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Which was a great plus. Definitely recommend the sampler platter for appetizer.

Quickly seated. Not too busy and I liked the décor. The food a came quick, was hot, and tasted very good.

Extremely clean restaurant and bathrooms. Hannah our server was amazing!! We enjoyed all the food!! The new steam pots with garlic seasoning were amazing. Drinks were great as well. The highlight of our day.

First time at Joe's crab shack As older people the access is great for wheelchairs or walkers. The food was amazing especially the clam chowder soup and highly recommend the margaritas great prices

My wife and I went there for lunch on Christmas day. We were seated quickly and our waiter was Jesse. He was great. Answered our questions, checked on us regularly, and genuinely cared about us. Wife had King Classic and I had the Queen Steampot -- both meals were excellent. Only concern was that when I ordered some raw oysters, which were good, but they had no saltine crackers only oyster crackers that one uses for soup. Overall great experience.

Absolutely phenomenal birthday experience. Came to dinner with my son and we’re greeted and seated promptly. The crab dip from the sampler was hot and absolutely delicious, and the shrimp sampler entree was just as amazing. Highly recommend soaking the jasmine rice in the scampi sauce for extra yum!
We were then greeted by Chef Elias and manager Alina & the General Manger Anne who helped lead the team and restaurant in a birthday cheer to celebrate my 80th.

I ate at Joe’s for dinner and it was amazing! It was my first time and my son had a blast. The service was great and the food was delightful! I had a Classic Steampot and my son had King Crab and loved it. The service was quick and they were so kind. I loved the decorative atmosphere and so did my son. We will definitely be back for more fun.

Long time favorite restaurant, this location did not disappoint. Big and open setup, room for parties and a giant patio section with great view of the lake and boardwalk. Crab pot was on point as always.

Very good and nice to place to go even in the winter. I went for my birthday and my waitress Hanna is the funniest, sweatiest person I ever met. I asked her to surprise me with a drink and she did. It was soooo goood and I loved the food. Hanna kept me laughing as she kept checking on me. Now thats a good waitress. Next time I come back, I will ask to be seated at one of her tables.

They made the best Long Island ice tea I have had in a long time. On top of that it was only 50 cents more for top shelf liquor. A definite must stop in the area.

Food was amazing!!! I was impressed with the steam pots we ordered but that crab did WAS AMAZING!!! Our waitress Blair was sooo wonderful. Very attentive and pleasant. She was really sweet.

As you can see the steam pot was pretty much demolished!!!

Stopped in for dinner for my girls weekend with friends. Our server was amazing, food was great, view was awesome. Highly recommended. Top tier.

We loved the atmosphere and super friendly staff here. However, the food is quite expensive at $60 for a bucket of King Crab which did not amount to much meat at all! The Voodoo Chicken strips were over cooked and hard to eat and the kids mac and cheese was stuck together mush. The Alfredo was decent but tasted more like buttered noodles than anything. The cheesey garlic bread, however was amazing! I was disappointed that we paid over $150 just for the 4 dishes that we got considering it was not great food. My daughter couldn't eat but a couple of bites of the mac and cheese because the texture was making her gag. It honestly looked like it was leftover mac and cheese barely warmed up. That's too much to charge for a kids plate if they can't even eat it or enjoy it. We did love the atmosphere and the service but I feel it is overpriced for the quality of food you get.

Had a great experience at Joe's Crab 🦀 Shack compliment to management that for an older store she has it "Ship Shape" and looks nice!! Had Low Country Boil and was delicious, bartender Dylan friendly and outgoing. Kids enjoyed the food and atmosphere too!!

This was my first time at a Joe's Crab Shack and I loved it! Our waitress Cynthia was phenomenal! She was fun, lively, attentive, she offered suggestions on places to go and really made me and my group feel taken care of. It was top notch customer service all around. The food was good. I shared a steam pot of crab/ shrimp. The drinks were good. Plus, every now and then the staff will do a team dance. I'd definitely recommend this place!

I recommend trying the appetizer Great balls of fire, they are delicious. My server Emily was the bomb, go visit her at joes , she’s awesome.

The staff were very polite and we were seated very quickly on a Saturday afternoon. The manager was so nice and gave my daughter extra toppings on her sundae. Food tasted great, hoped for a bit more crab legs in the bucket, but left happy. P.s. good strong drinks, would definitely come back.

Good Seafood Restaurant with a good view of the water, very spacious and impressive interior , nice tasting food and friendly servers at a reasonable price.
