Millstone Restaurant & Country Store

This restaurant was so good that we had dinner here on Friday and went back for Lunch on Sunday.The Smokehouse burger, the chicken wings, and the smokehouse trio were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was adorable. I can't wait to go back and enjoy another delicious burger.

Brook and the staff were amazing yesterday when my club showed up .I highly recommend this restaurant on the food but the friendly staff is like the cherry on top 😋

This place is fantastic! The service is exceptional, the food is delicious, and the price is fair for the quality and quantity. We were most comfortable and treated like family. Millstone is a local gem. A+

Get off I-40 at exit 424. Go south about 1/2 mile. Turn left on US-70. Millstone is a mile or two on the right. They are Closed Monday and Tuesday.

The side salad is fresh ice burg lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, crisp cucumber, and fresh "HOME MADE CROUTONS "! 😋 The Boss Ladies Chicken is really good with a tangy barbecue sauce. The chicken is very tender. Nice hometown atmosphere and service. Coffee is plentiful. The waitress will make you a fresh pot. We had an early dinner/late lunch.

The BEST burger and Sweet Potato Fries I’ve eaten in almost FOREVER!

The Smokehouse burger is authentically smoked with real wood and the ribs are rubbed down and then drowned in homemade sauce. Even the pickiest of preteen food critics were subdued with the concoction. The baked potatoes are firm but just right for mixing in your favorite toppings. Obviously the grilled cheese was good, but the scratch made Mac n’ cheese didn’t last long either.

The ‘more country than county’ atmosphere is drenched in 90’s and 2000’s country music, saturated in local arts and crafts and topped off with the charming appeal of antique fixtures. All of this is not the end.

Robert waited on us and did an amazing job. Never too pushy, never hovered and always present when needed, he topped the meal with ‘not so common’ courtesies, less than routine respect and genuine kindness. Recommendations, added service and special requests were never treated like an issue or concern. He easily made the meal as comfortable as a booth at home can be.

It's wonderful, Server was fun, food was delicious, Hot and served fast.
I had the double Mushroom and Swiss, She had the Reuben and we had fried pickles.
Absolutely will return.

Great find! Only about a mile off of the interstate. Great food and great service! If you're hungry and looking for a place to eat, definitely give them a try.

Fantastic spot!! Super friendly staff. Great service. Delicious food. I didn’t save room for dessert and got some of the homemade strawberry cobbler anyways and it was well worth the extra full belly. Loved the photos on the wall and other local artwork available for purchase. Would definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

I am so glad I stopped in , best BBQ ever an French onion soup😋. Thank yal for great food , an warm welcome . My new favorite.

Showed up at 6pm on a Saturday with 9 people. They had us seated in 10 minutes! Our waiter was OUTSTANDING. 3 different bills and he got every order exactly right. Kept my water full the entire time. Food was really good. Great burgers! Went back a few days later and the food and service were exceptional again. I'll go again if I pass through the area.

Very friendly place. Great atmosphere. Really good food. My wife has a garlic allergy and they came out of the kitchen and went over all the menu items she could make without garlic. My only minor gripe would be the cheesesteak and the rueben sandwich, though very tasty and filling, seemed a little overpriced for me. But, I'm old and still live in the past. I don't think any sandwich should be over $10. Inflation sucks.

Ate here a few nights in a row while I was in Tennessee on some business -- the staff was amazing, generous, and extremely accommodating. Brooke in particular did a spectacular job of making me feel like I was at home. I'll absolutely be recommending this place to everyone coming through.

Many times we have talked about eating here. Somehow it always slipped through the cracks. Today we made the best decision we have made in a long time. The menu is smaller, that is totally fine though. Everything we had was exceptional. The pork plate was really good, (The BBQ sauce could be a little better. That is the only thing that could come anywhere near a complaint.) The chopped steak was spot on. It had a perfect sear from the charbroiler on it. The slaw was really good. The fried mushrooms were possibly the best I have ever had. The sweet potato fries were really good. The service was awesome. If our server was not checking on us, another one was. Do yourself a favor and check these folks out.

Great burger! Great chicken sandwich. Quality beef! Fresh ingredients, good onion rings,good service!! We ran across this quaint dive on a spontaneous day trip from Jonesborough. Highly recommend it!!

Best prime rib I have ever had! We stopped in by accident, and I am so glad we did. The food was amazing. The beautiful pictures on the walls I wanted to buy them all. The service was on point. I wish we didn't live 8 hours away, or we would make this our regular spot to eat.

The best ribs I have ever had! This hidden gem boasts an extensive menu! Salads, soups, many different burgers and sandwiches.. salmon,catfish, pork plate and those yummy ribs.The on site smokehouse delivers the most flavorful and moist pork, chicken and ribs! Darn, no room for dessert, again.

Cute country restaurant and store. The food was good but the atmosphere and our waitress really stood out! Good, no fuss meal!

Giant burgers! Tasty seasoned fries. Try the "Alex" sandwich(BLT). Great service. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Outdoor seating looks nice, but it was too warm when I visited.
