Brushy Mountain Grill and pit stop

I went to this quaint little place on the recommendation of a customer. It’s situated right next to a bar and I think the bar and grill share the same facilities. I ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich. It came out efficiently and piping hot. I definitely enjoyed the meal and would go there again. This place had good service and good food at a fair price if you’re local or just passing through this place is definitely worth a stop.

That staff was great from the time I walked in and sat down. She let me know that she was short staffed but would do her best. She made the whole experience great as she was my waitress as well as the cook. I would recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Excellent little diner with a bar attached. The food and service were outstanding. Can’t speak highly enough of this establishment. If you’re in the area stop in for a quick bite!

This was our first time eating here and it didn't disappoint. My fiance got the regular burger w curly fries and I got grilled chicken salad. He absolutely devoured his but I like to taste my food so I took my time lol. The chicken was very flavorful and good but maybe a suggestion of cutting it up a little more because it was huge pieces of chicken cutlets and I only had a fork. It came with tons of cheese too but it was still delicious and we definitely will go back and try other delicious foods on the menu. Their prices are reasonable as well. If you are ever in that area give them a try.

Great food and great hospitality. Friendly local customers also make you feel like they've known you all your life. Don't forget the food is great!!!!!

HIGHLY recommend this place! The food is awesome (corn nuggets and classic chicken are to die for!) and the staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Prices are very low and you get a ton of food! Darlene was a great bartender and informative of all the beer, and Joe’s food is BAR NONE. Perfect cooking! (Picture is of the classic chicken)

Great food and friendly staff. The club sandwich was amazing and so were the corn nuggets and onion rings. Also the Philly steak was good. Make sure you bring cash to tip. Unfortunately when paying with card there was no option to add a tip.

Delicious. Fresh made. Super clean. And just super, super pretty spot. The tinkling brook, cold beer, and warm burger after a day on the mountain. Husband recommends the chicken fried chicken.

Food was great had a club with the wifey curly fries,onion rings and corn nuggets. And like everybody else said the help is awesome 👌!!!!!

Loved the double cheeseburger. Big and tasty. The staff did a great job, too!

We Stopped in today and actually met the owner and let me tell you what, these are some of the nicest folks around, we had a fairly large "9" rider party and they started moving tables and everyone got together and churned out 7 bacon cheeseburgers, 2 Double Cheeseburgers, fries, tater babies, tater-tots and oh yeah a baked potato, all food was great and came out together, I will recommend this place 😊

We enjoy eating here! The Brush burger and Onion rings is my favorite! But don't forget the peanut butter fudge it is to die for!! Yummy food!

Wonderful staff! Cozy, comfortable, casual, with outdoor seating too. Great hometown cooking. Fried potatoes with onions! What! I will be back. Right up the street from Brushy Mountain Prison. A Morgan County go to eatery.

Was a perfect family restaurant. outdoor country atmosphere . We order the 1lb cheeseburger and fries and it was perfect next time we are out that way we will be going back. If you find yourselves out that way stop by and check them out you won't be disappointed

Great stop today. It wasn't planned, but from now on anytime I'm in the area thus will be a must stop. Great cheeseburger, chicken tenders, and tater barrels. I will be back for the cheese steak and desserts. The owner Joe and Manager Jess were fantastic. I look forward to my next stop.

The 3 of us stopped on our bikes for lunch. Cashier had an awesome attitude and did a great job. Food was very good. Have stopped here a bunch of times and will come back

The menu was really reasonable prices. I had a catfish dinner with a huge bake potato and some really good hushpuppies. My boyfriend got chicken livers and a hamburger. Our friends that went with us had cheese burger and fries and chicken livers and deep fried mushrooms. We all had a 16 oz drink. The whole meal for 4 people was less than 44.00 minus a tip for our excellent service. The owner came out and sat and talked to us for a while. The service was great and the staff was singing in the kitchen. It's a great place to eat. Go check them out. Oh and they have ribeye steak dinner for 14.00 and some change. That's not a bad price for a steak dinner. We will be back to try something different soon. Thanks Joe. You have a great place.

Awesome food! Stopped by there after going to Brushy Mountain Prison. It was reasonably priced and the burgers were huge. The fries were the cripiest fries I have ever had and they were delicious. Everything was fresh just they way you would want it! Please support this ma and pa store.
