Optimist Park

What a great little playground that’s kept up, colorful, spread out with lots of shaded areas to sit under, benches for parents, and 16 swings! Better than most places in Huntsville.

My friend had her sons 1st birthday here and it was so cute. I just forgot my babies hat and the whole playground is in the sun but it's so big and nice and clean. Theres a big pavilion with tables and a sidewalk she had bubbles and sidewalk chalk set up the parking was great and convenient plenty of room and it wasnt crazy busy or anything that I noticed just the birthday party. Will definitely be taking my son back soon.

Great park, typically very quiet areawith very cool things for kids to play on.

Surprise surprise! We just needed some place with a picnic table to eat our fast food so did a quick search and found this park. Much bigger than I expected and had a lot of things for kids to play on. Even my husband and I joined our kids on them which was fun. It was clean and had a pavilion as well. You won't see it right at the entrance, you have to drive towards the back to see it. A lil gem.

I've been going there for years, and the park is great for my kids.

Beautiful and clean small playground for all ages!

Let me start out by saying what a beautifully designed park. There's a baseball field, an extensive playground area, plenty of tables with gazebo overhangs, and a fitness center. My girlfriend and I had such a nice night here having a picnic and walking around the park. Do yourself a favor and stop here if you're in the area with some free time. It will not disappoint!!

It's a very nice baseball field and also has a softball field and a place where young kids can play on the slide and swings it is a very very nice and clean Park I would I would think about taking my kids there I actually played my early years of baseball at that Park!!

The outdoor playground tucked behind the gym has a great set of equipment. A large pavilion with quite a few tables. A walking path circles the playground and is great for a quick walk while the kids play.

The Optimist park out back is great for all ages . Also the basketball courts are very well taken care of. The staff is very friendly and courtious. They gave me all the info i needed to start playing basketball within a league

My daughter plays alot of her b-ball games at Optimist. It's a confinent location. The facility is clean and safe with lots of parking. Refs are fair and customer service is friendly.

Love this park. The play ground is adult friendly. Youngins can play and you can too!! And my dog LOVES the slide.

This park is always clean and peaceful. I enjoy walking on the path or sitting at the tables to eat. There's a nice playgroubd for the kids.

We had our 10 year high school reunion here for Lee Class of 11! Nice. Clean. Fun.

Good place to take your children to play. Lots of new things to play on. It doesn't have the old wore out equipment like most places.
