My experience was good. I read a lot of comments about vehicle problems but just be aware that It’s a risk buying a vehicle that is 10-15 years old so anything can happen at anytime but that doesn’t mean it’s always the dealers fault. I recommend You do research and know what to look for before purchasing a used car. I bought a truck today and the process was easy and painless and I wasn’t required to wear a mask which is a huge plus for me. I was in and out quickly and Rose took good care of me. I have to brag on this car lot, give Rose and her team for the great experience we had! My family and I was in the Mrytle beach area on vacation for our kids fall break, when our van broke down and become more of an issue then we needed, a family of 6 being stuck for 2 days at a resort wasn't fun when it was suppose to been vacation! We had run out of options, absolutely no car rentals available thanks to Hurricane Flo that come only a few weeks before we arrived, the garages around there was booked up and wasn't available to get to our vehicle until the following Monday, we had less then 24hours until check out with our resort and absolutely no way of getting home, the last resort we had was to purchase a used vehicle, we needed another one anyways due to expecting another child and needed an upgrade! As I was looking online for used vehicles Southern Auto Mart showed up, seeing a lot of great reviews, I was still skeptical because we was 8 hours from home and knew no one! But being an emergency my husband and I contacted them immediately (it was Friday and they closed within a few hours) after a short drive in an expensive taxi later, we arrived and was showed a 2007 Hyundai Entourage, very pretty blue color.. that they had waiting on us!!! Rose and Sheyann was the most amazing helping and caring women I have met in awhile! After the test drive and telling her that they was an issue with the breaks, she immediately fixed the problem, she had her mechanic to look at it and see it needed breaks, Rose had him go purchase new breaks and install them, Rose was very caring to hearing our story and why we needed another vehicle, she not only told us but showed me she was going to make sure my family and I got back to our home state (TN) safely.. that indeed she did! Rose was the best and I cant thank her enough for the caring attitude she had and the honesty she and her team gave to us! I would recommend this car lot, Rose and her team to anyone within the state or that's traveling! Thank you Rose for the new to me vehicle and for making sure my family and I got back home safe!

We live in NC and have bad credit after going to several different dealers with no luck. They worked with us to make it work. I was able to get approved before driving down. They were very nice and I love my car! Thank you so much guys! We appreciate you so much.

I was able to purchase a 2011 Hyundai sonata today from southern auto Mart today.Rose the general manager and her team are the most caring, understanding and charismatic sales people I know. They go above and beyond to help you meet your needs and work with you on all levels. This is my second time purchasing from them and I have never been disappointed. Have had nothing but great service with the MYRTLE BEACH location. They are all incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. Rose will do everything possible to help you with a vehicle. We had a van with them, the motor blew and she got us right into another vehicle. If we ever had an issue with the van they would get us right in and look at it and fix it. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a buy here pay here. Love this location

Come get your car from Southern Auto Mart! The staff here is wonderful. They give you second chances when times get rough. Take that from someone who knows! I had a rough patch and had to give up my car, they let me come back and purchase another one. If our vehicle messes up the will fix it for you.

This is the most patient and well staffed dealership I've ever been to..I've been dealing with Philip and he is a great salesman..He was understanding and willing to work with me..I didn't feel rushed or taken advantage of like most dealerships..I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality car at a great price..
