Best customer service experience! The owners son was excellent and made my daughter and our whole night. We came in for a Mother’s Day necklace for me and my daughter had previously gotten a similar version (“cheap” one) but we lost the pearl out of it so they were going to be generous and give us a free pearl but turns out the necklace actually broke too. So not only did he give us a pearl but also a new beautiful necklace to go with it! Thank you and I highly recommend this shop🤗

My daughter and I went to Broadway at the Beach for lunch. Huge shopping center with many shops and restaurants. We stumbled on Pick A Pearl, a very unique jewelry store. After gazing into the window because there was a sign stating “be back in 30 minutes” the store door opened and we were greeted by a friendly young lady who invited us in. We looked around and we were enchanted by the beautiful jewelries. The young lady explained the pearl’s concept of each individual picking an oyster, keeping the pearl inside, then using the pearl to make your own unique piece of jewelry. We decided to purchase necklaces. I got the lotus and my daughter got the music symbol, treble clef. Her oyster gave her a black pearl and I got a pink pearl. Both were beautifully embedded in our necklaces respectively. It was fantastic and a must visit when in Myrtle Beach, SC.

A must visit everytime we are in MB. Instead of choosing any old piece of jewelry from a store, this place makes buying jewelry a true experience! Each time we go, my husband choses the oyster and I pick the jewelry, except for this time because he wanted something special for Valentine's Day. So every time I wear one of my pearls, I am flooded with happy memories of doing this together. And I always take a video of him choosing the oyster and the salesperson opening it up to reveal the treasure inside! I have had individual pearls and have had twins. Love it!

Cute store and cute concept! There are tons of cute jewelry to pick out and I love the surprise you get picking a clam… You never know what color you’re going to get! There’s also a variety of charms, bracelets, necklaces keychains and they all range of prices.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years and each year my girls and I pick pearls. The manager recognized me when I came in yesterday and was excited to see my girls. She let them each pick pearls for free. I ended up getting a beautiful black Pearl set into a sterling necklace and my girls each got necklaces as well. The prices were very good for sterling silver jewelry and it was an amazing experience. I will be stopping in on our next trip to Myrtle Beach. Thanks for the amazing memories for my girls!!

My girlfriend was really happy with the black pearl that I picked for her. They have too many jewelry options to choose from. It was really good experience and we’ll definitely come back to pick a pearl again. Staff was so friendly and the store was so beautiful and organized. Worth every penny!

Loved this place! My husband and I were both curious and we decided to check it out. I let him pick my oyster and I got a silver one, picked the mermaid necklace option. Very durable chain. Decently priced for the option I wanted. I'll be back soon!

I recently had the chance of visiting this incredible pick a pearl store and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and treated like a valued customer. Luckily we met the manager she was also very friendly and informative throughout the process of picking our oyster!

I love coming here with my kids to pick a Pearl. They have a tank full of oysters and me and my 4 kids all picked wonderful colored and sized pearls. We had them put in rings and necklaces. My daughter picked an oyster with 2 pearls and was able to get earrings made with them! The prices are great considering you’re getting a real pearl and sterling silver jewelry. I will definitely be returning here next year. Great employees and a great experience for my family.

This is my favorite place to visit when coming to broadway at the beach! This is my fourth year returning to the store because I love their jewelry so much. They have a wide variety of settings to choose from and their pearls are awesome quality. I was treated very well in the store and all the employees working there were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. I walked in and picked my oyster and got 2 black ones in the same oyster! I picked out earrings and I absolutely love them. I did have a problem last year with my chain breaking because I got it caught on something, and they sent me a new one for free! And they sent me free earrings as well for the inconvenience. All around a great experience and great service I will be returning next year!

This place is fantastic!!! My boyfriend and I learned quite a bit about pearls and how they get the coloring from the shells, etc.
My boyfriend bought me the Sea Turtle pendant but I opted to pick a beautiful pink/purple pearl already displayed instead of trying my luck shucking the oyster shell for a mystery color pearl inside.

They polished my pearl and set it in my pendant. The lady gave me all the instructions on how to care for it like waiting 24 hrs to wear it, which was so hard to do because it's gorgeous, but I did which allowed time for it to set properly. Also not to shower or swim with it on and no lotions or body sprays after putting it on. So informative and such a beautiful piece of jewelry I got from my boyfriend.

Very cool to pick your own pearl. Never know what color you will get or how many. In on oyster there was two peach colored ones. Enough for a set of earrings. They mounted them in Sterling silver for a very inexpensive price. Also have nice pearl necklaces at half off.

My wife had a blast picking an oyster to find two beautiful almost pink/copper colored pearls in it. She was able to get them made into ear rings which I know she will treasure forever! Pearls are her favorite and this was a fun way to get a memory for her on our trip to the beach...better than buying lottery tickets, lol!

I adore pearls, so this was a fantastic experience. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, informational, but not pushy.
You truly "pick a pearl" by picking an oyster right there and seeing what you get. You then chose what piece of jewelry you want it in.
Very reasonably priced and great quality.

While walking the piers hubby and I came across Pick A Pearl. What a fun experience! Hubby picked the oyster and I got 2 pearls so I was able to make 2 pieces of jewelry.

Great experience. You get to pick your on oyster and you don’t know how many pearls are in it or what color. I ended up with 1 blue pearl and got a necklace
