My mother in law ended up passing away suddenly at MUSC and we turned to Dickerson Mortuary to put together her funeral. Their staff, specifically Ms.Pam, worked with us through our shock and grief to put together a beautiful, tasteful burial that really honored my mother in law. There are some specific things we needed to incorporate into the burial process from her faith and from her culture and they assisted and respected every wish we had. I will recommend them to anyone for their professionalism but also their warmth and friendship and treating us with understanding and making us feel really cared for.

The most professional services, my dad looked amazing, and natural. Services was held at the Onsite chapel , followed by a 2 hour procession to the National Cemetery, it was beautiful . I wholeheartedly appreciate all of Dickerson Mortuary’s help during this time of bereavement. They are the Best in the State!

exhibited to my family during the passing of the Reverend Andrew R. Adams, Jr. From the first call from the hospice facility to the individualized memorial pillows provided to our young children at the burial, your family-style service was impeccable. Every time we walked into the Mortuary there was such awesome and appropriate care including hugs, smiles, and even laughter at times. You all were
extremely accommodating to the needs of our family especially for the viewings and visitations. The
execution of your service at the Celebration of Life was impressive and professional, we are still
receiving compliments from those who attended and saw it online. No request went unanswered.
Words really cannot express how happy we are to have chosen Dickerson Mortuary for such a time as
this.

Dickerson Mortuary did an amazing job with my Dad. We had went to another funeral home and they wanted to charge us a huge amount of money that we didn't have because my Dad didn't have life insurance. Dickerson said they would go get my dad and work with us on the price. They were kind, compassionate, and went above and beyond. I love the afghan they provided with my dad's picture on it. It means the world to my mom and the whole family. Hopefully we won't have to deal with another death in the family again for a while but when we do, Dickerson has our business.

The passing of our patriarch, Mr. James Simmons, Jr., also known as "Junior," was devastating. I must say GOD definitely gave Dickerson to us during the hardest times of burying our love ones. They helped us out in a immaculate way! Everything we requested was given to us and they went above and beyond to tend to our family needs. Before my Dad passed he saw the owner at a Chinese Restaurant and jokingly asked him if he could come lay in their casket to try it out(smh really Dad) well eventually when he did, that was our final goodbyes to his remains. Dickerson not only provided professionalism, they comfort us, prayed with us, and even things we requested at the last minute they fulfilled!!! My Dad home going celebration was definitely one to remember and to say it was a funeral everyone spoke highly about the service, how well it was coordinated and how good Dickerson had my Dad looking. I'm getting teary eye as I type this. Dickerson I can never thank you enough for all you've done for my family during such a hard time in our lives. You all are appreciated and we love y'all very much!! Continue to be just who y'all are because it really helps and makes a difference when one is grieving. My Dad's spirit, some know him as Mr Tenor with the Fabolous Sons of Grace is pleased, and the way you all help alleviate the stress from our family especially my mom is forever appreciated. Greetings Everyone. My Name is Nicole Gadsden. I lose my Mom a week ago today. I sought burial services and My family and I linked up with Dickerson Mortuary. My family and I was so pleased at the phenomenal service that was given by this company. We was treated with respect and dignity. My Mom looked like a porcelain doll. My father passing away was the hardest things that my family and I ever had to face. However, I am so grateful that we found Dickerson Mortuary. Mr. Darryl Dickerson and his entire staff were absolutely amazing. We had never experienced losing someone so close to us and we had never planned a funeral. I contacted the funeral director Mr. Seymour and I can not say enough about how comforting, caring and compassionate he was during our time of grief. Mr. Seymour went above and beyond to meet all of our wants and needs. Being that this was our first experience we had tons of questions and requests but anytime I called Mr. Seymour, he answered. As busy as he is he made us feel like my father and my family were number one. We had a wonderful experience with Dickerson's entire staff. The staff did a lot to take things off our hand such as assisting us with funeral arrangements and planning and making sure everything went smoothly. They assisted us with the obituary and funeral program and their Reverend on staff Rev. Darryl Lee provided our family the most amazing, beautiful service. Their on staff musician Ms. Gantt sang such beautiful, heartfelt songs. My father couldn't have had a nicer service and I owe all thanks to Dickerson Mortuary.
