Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services

There aren't enough words for me to describe just how wonderfully pleasant the staff at simplicity made everything! I never would have imagined such an unpleasant situation could be anything but yet Simplicity and their staff exceeded any expectations I could have had! I HIGHLY recommend their services. As a born and raised Charlestonian I've had my experiences with other funeral homes in the area and Simplicity is by far the best!

We lost our beautiful, kind big hearted, sweet 42 year old daughter in August, We were referred to Simplicity by the hospital. My daughter was an organ donor so we needed to wait until she was officially declared brain dead. While we waited we went to Simplicity to make cremation arrangements. The two women there (I’m sorry I don’t remember their names). As you would imagine it was a very emotional time for myself, her father, her sister and brother. They explained everything to us and left the room so we could discuss our options. At no time did they try to pressure us. They were very sympathetic and we felt they had our best interest in mind. Were are very grateful for their professionalism, empathy and friendship. They made it easier for us in a beyond difficult situation. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if necessary.

My sister and I have used simplicity twice to cremate my mother and grandmother. Both times they made the experience seamless and easy. It’s hard dealing with the loss of a loved one, but having simplicity in our corner through the process was great. I will always recommend their services because they genuinely care about their customers.

I don't even know where to start cause baby Chrissy helped me through this process ( even dealing with the insurance company) and made it easy for my family and I. She is outstanding and goes above and beyond. If you're looking for a place with compassion, care, comfort, and amazing work ethic from start to finish this is your place. I will forever refer people to this lovely place because of her, she is a gem!!!

My mom recently passed away in home under Hospice care. In the middle of the night Simplicity staff came to our home and ever so respectfully transferred her to their offices for cremation. The next day when I went in to make finale arrangements - they were empathetic, compassionate, professional - I can’t say enough kind words about their treatment during every encounter I’ve had with them. I highly recommend this company and team.

I first called and spoke to Chrissy when my father in law was placed in hospice. I’ve never had to make a call like this before but when Chrissy answered the phone, she was so kind, compassionate and sweet. She took her time to answer all my questions and help me through the process. When my father in law passed, she was one who came to transport him. She gave me a hug and treated us with respect during this difficult time. The next week, her and Amy assisted my husband and I with all the paper work and helped guide us through. They both showed respect, compassion and professionalism. We would highly recommend using Simplicity!

I had the unintended pleasure of working with Julie, Chrissy and Todd from Simplicity. This group of professionals were so caring and thorough and KIND they made my experience one of the easier things I needed to accomplish. I highly recommend Simplicity!

During the difficult time I lost my husband, Serenity made the process for cremation and other details stress free. I did many followups with the staff and Chrissy and Amy were always helpful and kind. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to them in guiding me through the process with kindness.

I also wanted to thank you for taking care of notifying Social Security for me. The enclosed letter in your packet to us has been very helpful in directing me of what needs to be done after the passing of a loved one. It's been a great instrumental tool/guide.

I lost my husband, unexpectedly ,January 14. Amy and Chrissy were comforting and understanding as we went through the process of finalizing plans. They were able to address my needs and those of his sisters. They have been wonderful in providing assistance, support and services even after the cremation was complete. I have been a hospice nurse in this area for 10 years and have recommended Simplicity many times over the years. I will continue to do so, even more so, since having to use their services. Thank you both.

Brian was very nice and considerate of our feelings and wants. He listened to everything we needed and wanted, and was very sympathetic and kind. I would recommend Simplicity to anyone who is in need. My father didn't have life insurance so we had to come out of pocket and it was very reasonable and we had our dad back even faster than we thought. Brian explained everything very well and just made the whole experience easy. Thank you Brian and Simplicity for taking great care of our dad.

Both of my parents wishes were to be creamated. Lost them in same year. Thanks to simplicity for their understanding and sympathies. They also provided help and support with what to do next in our time of need. Not sure what else to say. Mom and Dad are together and at peace.

My experience with the staff at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial was wonderful. From the very beginning with the pickup the gentleman were respectful, kind and caring with me as they removed my husband from our home. Once at the Nth Chs location the ladies took over and contacted me in the same respectful and caring manner. And weeks later they are still checking in on me! Kudos to Amy, Christian, Todd and Riley for turning a sad and somber event into a wonderful experience.

From start to finish the staff was great. Christy (transporter) was understanding, professional and courteous. Brian was patient and ensured our questions were answered. Amy was helpful in making recommendations for keepsakes. She was patient with our indecisiveness, professional and courteous. All in all, we would fully recommend Simplicity N Charleston) to anyone experiencing a loss of a loved one.

Simplicity is a place with staff that truly made the difficulty of making final arrangements for a loved one as painless as possible. They assured my wishes were met, while patiently providing guidance and information to assist in my decision making. I had never experienced planning a funeral and they helped with suggestions on decisions, providing me with options. I give specific thanks to Bryan, Amy and Melissa for their compassion, their patience, their knowledge. I definitely recommend them if you require such services.

First off I would like to thank the ladies at Simplicity for everything they did! During my time of sorrow they made my life a lot easier! Even after the process they reached out to check on me (it’s the small things mean a lot)! Again thank you ladies for your kind words and emotional support!!
