Very friendly staff, that takes care of their customers like your family. Convenient location and plenty of parking and a extra parking lot beside the restaurant. There's entrances on both sides of the restaurant with wheelchair accessibility. Lots of items on the menu with great prices!!

Great homestyle country cooking restaurant. Homey, comfortable. Economical. Down to earth people. Solid Southern cooking daily diner. NOT fancy. Please do not misunderstand. A combination of buffet style & sit down to be served cafe. I am the pastor of Sawyersville Wesleyan. And I learned of this, as we catered in down home meals for fellowship meetings. Really pleased with the Dipper as a simple country cooking diner, operated by real nice people! I intend to eat here regularly.

This is the ONLY PLACE in Asheboro where the Food is ALWAYS HOT, Fresh and Delicious every single time. The Staff is always friendly and welcoming. The prices are a great value as well. This is now my favorite Restaurant! Sorry Golden Corral and the Fadt Food joints!

Love their Chicken Casserole! It’s one of their specials on Thursdays, the other is Meatloaf. I’ve also had their breakfast and it’s just as delicious! Will definitely go back to try their Meatloaf and Baked Spaghetti (which is one of their Friday specials).

This is the best place around to eat at for awesome home cooking and superior southern hospitality. The food is freshly prepared home cooked meals,(Just like mom use to make) and it's family owned and opperated so when you come in to eat,they treat you like your family. Try it,I promise you that you'll love it. If you go for breakfast, I recommend trying the Dipper special for $7.99 cause it's enough food for 2 adults plus it comes with coffee or tea. U get 2 eggs anyway u want them, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns or grits and gravy biscuits or pan cakes

The Dipper has been one of my favorite restaurants for 20+ years. You will not find better home cooked food, nor better people making it, anywhere. They serve excellent portions of quality food. One of the daily specials is always my “go-to”. Support locally owned and operated businesses like The Dipper that are doing everything right..

Went to meet my family here, got a little late but the waitress was super nice and the food came out fast. Filling and delicious. Its a nice small town feel.

First time ordering and I was blown away. I got the country style steak and it came within 20 minutes. It was incredible! Tender is an understatement. For the price I can think of nowhere that comes close. Will be my new favorite. *Delivery isn't always available*

My hat's off to you. It is rare to find a unicorn of a restaurant like this one. They make fast, good and cheap a thing. Been there twice in 2 days. We will be back next time we're in town. Thanks so much.

The lady was very nice to me I just came from up there I ordered a Dipper Burger and it is huge they have great prices especially for the amount of food that you get not to mention it is very delicious 🙂

Fast friendly service. Good home cooked American food. Growing up with southern home cooked meals, I'm constantly looking for a place that resembles what I grew up eating. This place has good southern country cooking. Not exactly like what mom made but similar.

I don't do reviews, but when I see folks go out of their way I feel obligated to let folks know.
Today was my first experience with The Dipper. I placed a lunch order for 5 which they delivered to my door within minutes and accept cash, I'm so tired of the plastic only craze during the pandemic. The food was delicious and everyone was so friendly! I will definitely be back.

This place never disappoints. I go here whenever I am in town, probably twice a month. It is clean and yet a really laid back atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and attentive but never in your face. I actually dream about their mashed potatoes...Real mashed potatoes. They have a chicken and dumpling day and usually have country style steak and stew beef and rice that is fantastic. I just can't say enough good things :))
