Foggy Bottom Kitchen

We have been to several state parks and always wanted to try this restaurant. Let's just say It did not disappoint at this state park! It has the best fries I've had ,hands down, of almost any restaurant ever! The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection. The waitress we had was super nice and even brought us some of their version of fried apple fritters. I don't know if they are just rolling out that dessert because it is not on their menu online.

While we were at Sequoia Lodge, the local restaurant, Foggy Bottom catered the two meals that we had. Great food. Best bacon ever... best green beans in the world.

Well spaced out and clean. If your not a guest at the lodge, make sure to have your parking registered.
Went here Friday April 16th 2021 after 4pm.
Brittany was our server and she was amazing. Great attitude and people skills, quick service and not overly attentive.
The food. AMAZING! Husband had the club sandwich which took up half his plate and I had the chicken and waffles. Definitely try the 'critters'.

Awesome place! First time there but won't be the last! Excellent food, great atmosphere, lake views, pool views, fantastic service!! If camping at Sequoyah State Park experience the Foggy Bottom!

Delicious home cooked fried or grilled food items . I ate the grilled chicken tenders, fries and fried okra. Very tasty. Looking forward to dining there again soon.

Great place for breakfast. The place was super busy but the staff was so kind and sweet. The food was good.

We had breakfast there and it was amazing, the food was the best breakfast we have had around this area, the waiter was amazing, checked on us regularly, kept our drinks full and had a kick long conversation about this area and all the other state parks that have this restaurant. The service was exceptional and it was clean, and just awesome way to start our Saturday of exploring. Wish I could give it 10 stars and a 👍

My husband and I ate here for a company Christmas party. The zucchini chips and cheese curds tasted good; but they were a little greasy. Their jalapeno sweet corn is delicious, and their chicken fried steaks are huge! Overall, it was a good experience. The food was hot, tasted good, and they give large portions. Sequoyah State Park is beautiful, so I would recommend trying this place if you're in the area. Lots of scenery and local wildlife.

We came, we ate and it was excellent! I had the Kettle Chips BBQ nachos with Chipotle cheese, layered and loaded with all of the toppings including delicious smoked chicken. My husband had the Winchster Double cheeseburger with onion jam, apple bacon, white Cheddar and Worcestershire mayo! Thick and tender and juicy! The fries were great! We couldn't eat it all. Staff were friendly, service time was awesome. We'll be back!

This was such a gem! Everything is hand cut and hand battered. I was in the mood for chicken strips and they were so good! All of the dressings / dips were delicious. One of the best ranch dressings I have tasted in a very long time! My date had the hobo dinner and couldn’t get enough of it! It was all just very lovely

I am thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic, but the staff is awesome. I don't think I have witnessed such a young staff that have such great customer service focus. There is also great teamwork. Anytime a waiter or waitress walked by , they checked on us and our drinks.

I was super surprised at what a great restaurant this was. The entrance is through the gift shop which is super cute. The service was great, the food was absolutely delicious and for the price you get a big serving. I also ran into an old friend that happens to work there so, that was nice as well. All around great experience!

We went at a 5:30 on a Sat. 45 min wait. Not bad considering it was a Saturday. Kids played in park a we looked over menu. Food was delicious. Everyone loved it except the catfish. The server was sonic but so slow she did tell us at the end it washer 3rd right there. Drinks arrived appetizers after even though it was just waters + soft drinks. The kitchen gots abusy that they wouldn't bring out the free critters. But we didn’t mind. We just wanted to leave after a 2.5 meal with a 5,2,and 1 year old. But food was so good. Summer is going to be super hard for them that’s for sure.

The first time I ate there had the Montecarlo sandwich and OMG!! Sooooo good!! It is big though, so I only ate half and took the rest to my room. Another time I ordered a southwest chicken salad and I really liked it too. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the spicy mango dressing made it even better. I totally recommend this place, also the staff is really friendly and efficient.

Our first experience with this restaurant was excellent. The food was very good. Andy was our server and he was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu as well as the park. He was sincere and friendly. The manager was quick to respond to our call and she showed real support for her entire staff. We will come back.

We got our meal and took it to our room. We had the chicken fried steak dinner. We had to split one because it was huge!! The food was fantastic, but that corn dish!!!! It was divine! Creamy, sweet, with a hint of heat. Best jalapeño corn dish I have ever eaten. Overall, we were miserable...because we ate too much! LOL Thank you Foggy Bottom. Wonderful staff and a great meal. Doesn’t get any better than that. ❤
